1000 storage? REALLY?!

Day 1,210, 06:16 Published in USA USA by Demiurge

OK. Some interesting changes happened last night, and they are immediately noticeable once you log in. The biggest change that I've noticed so far is the new storage area in the players land area.

Guess what? We now get 1000 storage! Wow! Cool!

Or is it?

For anyone who does not own a company this is an incredible thing. That is a lot of space for the average player. But what about those who do own companies. Particularly those who own food or weapons company that needs to keep a constant inventory of resources to produce goods.

Here's where the nut shot comes. Your resources are counted in your 1000 inventory. For now its fine since there is unlimited inventory until day 1250. But then...the demons will rise from the depths of Hades and burn all your grain and smelt your iron into weapons that they will use to chop off your precious bits.

Think about this for a second. I am a Guru** and I alone use over 600 resources for a single day's work. Now if I had additional people employed in my company, it would not be long till the mill closed down because I was unable to keep it stocked with grain.

This is simply ludicrous. Do I need to monitor my grain company 24/7 so that whenever one of my workers does a days work, I can restock the grain silo?!

Think about it. Unless this new inventory method changes this will be the death of big business. And guess what that means?

EVERYTHING WILL COST MORE!!!!

Now to be fair, there is the possibility for storage expansion, but if that is anything like past storage expansion it may cost real life money. Although given the way the setup appears, my bet is on a gold cost. I'm betting it will be just like upgrading a company. Still, while this may make things more manageable if true, it is still an unreasonable additional expense.

In other words, Plato is extorting all large corporations!

So, pay homage to Plato. Godfather of the e-world. Respect him as the suave mafioso he is or he'll burn your companies to the ground.
