100,000 IEP for Eire

I call upon the friends of eIreland. Sub to this paper as a token sign of support.
If I can gather the 1,000 subs for a MM medal by Yule, I will donate 100,000 IEP to the eIreland treasury.
Do not mail me with sub numbers. I have no need of spam.
You are not required to vote, or re-shout this.
There is no reward for you, the reward goes to our beloved Eire.
The point of this initiative is to show that eIreland has supporters around the globe. People will not sub for a dim hope at selfish personal reward, but for a patriotic reward to an altruistic greater good. Let all the friends of Eire rally together... for Eire, for TEDEN.
Depending on how well this goes, I might have an extra reward to a randomly chosen comment in this article. So, feel free to leave a message of support.

i don't want to sound negative about it but...wouldn't this cause inflation? i mean all that money would go on the market at some point...
actually, that money stays in the treasury and is spent on MMP's and such.

And judging from the price of Gold, if/when Bhane gets his Media Medal, hes gonna buy 100 Gold, exchange it for IEP, and then donate it to the Treasury. All that just to get the medal. Its a tuffy.
I'm not doing this to get the medal. I'm doing this with the goal of giving a holiday gift to the country. The MM medal was an easy way to make a "game" out of it. I'm lazy, and not very creative. The medal provides an easy "goal" to track.
Art, Bhane has been importing large quantities of finished products onto the mkt. Like all importers, during a downtrend in cash value the money gets 'stuck' in currency form (or take a massive hit on capital). Like many of us, he probably alrdy has +100k collecting dust in his account. Nothing will be harmed by using this surplus to fund mpp's.
It's the same principle I'd intended to fund the mpp stack myself.
