[WTP]~ Once more into the Fray...

Day 2,180, 21:00 Published in USA USA by Hale26
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.

Once more into the fray…

Beliefs have an odd way of altering throughout the days. It was my central feeling that, after 3 continous months of service, I would be done with WeThePeople Executive Leadership. That proved not to be the case.

I’ve done this 4 times now, so lets just be quick about it, shall we?

Yes, this is one of those campaign announcement articles. WeThePeople, I want in you. I want to be yours again, if just for 1 more month.

I am campaigning to be your Party President.

My reasons for candidature are not as numerous as they are pressing. To be clear, I am not exactly in the same shape erep-wise that I was at the end of my 3rd term of Party Presidency. For those unaware, I’m a former 3 term PP of WTP. During my tenure we created 90% of all party infrastructure to be used at that time, became a prominent force in Congress, increased our Leadership capabilities and reached a pinacle of activity. All of this is owed not only to my teacher’s tolerating my slight drowsiness in class, at times. I had a solid, hard working team.

When it began, none of us particularly knew what we were doing. I was a relative newb, had little Leadership experience and was largely without advice for my beginning terms. It was me, the team and a forum board.

Those days were rough. I wouldn’t have at it any other way.

Through a new era of partisanship brought about by unwarranted hosility from the ruling Federalists, through our successes and through our failures we rose our way to the pinacle of organization and success we had internally.

Past Party Presidents did well, after those 3 terms. Talos attracted a f**k-ton of talent to the party, involved the party more on a national level and worked greatly with the ATO, for one.

I’m a little out of shape, erep-wise. I’d dare say the party is too.

We are undergoing one of the natural events of a party that survives on talent. When talent is focused on External factors, you get External Results. You become the home of the NSC Director, the home of the Secretary of Defense, the home of the Chief Of Staff, the home of the AF and SF CO...etc. Yet, when your focus is put fully on the external events...internal is lost. Talent recreation is stalled as a result, activity goes down and your party begins a slumber.

Despite the best attempts of many, we have not yet awoken from this. Organization is still not at its prime, media is down, Congress-ing is lower;

We The People are not dying. We The People are not dead. We The People are asleep.

Much like myself, we as a collective have let our party settle for what we have. We have let the ruling Federalists spin wool in the eyes of the eAmerican public. We have let our numbers level out.

We have become solid, instead of fluid. No party, let alone a populist one, can settle for solidity. This must end if we are to reach our full potential. Naturally, I seek to end it.

My goals to bring about the end of our staleness would be three fold;

#1; Shift the Party Focus back to Internal Workings.

#2; Find and train two successors.

#3; Stand up to Partisan Hypocrisy wherever/whenever it makes itself known.

WeThePeople is a proud party. Out of a PTO wasteland, out of government spite towards us and out of adversity we solidified our movement as one belonging to the T5. I have always found our effective internal workings, combined with our reaction to outside adversity and hypocrisy, as beautiful.

It is my hope that I can bring those two factors back to WTP, to all of our benefit's.

This was a brief intro into the Hale4PP campaign. Unlike last time, I actually have a rough plan for how I want to orchestrate this thing. You can expect a few more campaign articles to come.

Always yours,

~Good Night
