[WTP]~ Once more into the Fray...

Once more into the fray…
Beliefs have an odd way of altering throughout the days. It was my central feeling that, after 3 continous months of service, I would be done with WeThePeople Executive Leadership. That proved not to be the case.
I’ve done this 4 times now, so lets just be quick about it, shall we?
Yes, this is one of those campaign announcement articles. WeThePeople, I want in you. I want to be yours again, if just for 1 more month.
I am campaigning to be your Party President.
My reasons for candidature are not as numerous as they are pressing. To be clear, I am not exactly in the same shape erep-wise that I was at the end of my 3rd term of Party Presidency. For those unaware, I’m a former 3 term PP of WTP. During my tenure we created 90% of all party infrastructure to be used at that time, became a prominent force in Congress, increased our Leadership capabilities and reached a pinacle of activity. All of this is owed not only to my teacher’s tolerating my slight drowsiness in class, at times. I had a solid, hard working team.
When it began, none of us particularly knew what we were doing. I was a relative newb, had little Leadership experience and was largely without advice for my beginning terms. It was me, the team and a forum board.
Those days were rough. I wouldn’t have at it any other way.
Through a new era of partisanship brought about by unwarranted hosility from the ruling Federalists, through our successes and through our failures we rose our way to the pinacle of organization and success we had internally.
Past Party Presidents did well, after those 3 terms. Talos attracted a f**k-ton of talent to the party, involved the party more on a national level and worked greatly with the ATO, for one.
I’m a little out of shape, erep-wise. I’d dare say the party is too.
We are undergoing one of the natural events of a party that survives on talent. When talent is focused on External factors, you get External Results. You become the home of the NSC Director, the home of the Secretary of Defense, the home of the Chief Of Staff, the home of the AF and SF CO...etc. Yet, when your focus is put fully on the external events...internal is lost. Talent recreation is stalled as a result, activity goes down and your party begins a slumber.
Despite the best attempts of many, we have not yet awoken from this. Organization is still not at its prime, media is down, Congress-ing is lower;
We The People are not dying. We The People are not dead. We The People are asleep.
Much like myself, we as a collective have let our party settle for what we have. We have let the ruling Federalists spin wool in the eyes of the eAmerican public. We have let our numbers level out.
We have become solid, instead of fluid. No party, let alone a populist one, can settle for solidity. This must end if we are to reach our full potential. Naturally, I seek to end it.
My goals to bring about the end of our staleness would be three fold;
#1; Shift the Party Focus back to Internal Workings.
#2; Find and train two successors.
#3; Stand up to Partisan Hypocrisy wherever/whenever it makes itself known.
WeThePeople is a proud party. Out of a PTO wasteland, out of government spite towards us and out of adversity we solidified our movement as one belonging to the T5. I have always found our effective internal workings, combined with our reaction to outside adversity and hypocrisy, as beautiful.
It is my hope that I can bring those two factors back to WTP, to all of our benefit's.
This was a brief intro into the Hale4PP campaign. Unlike last time, I actually have a rough plan for how I want to orchestrate this thing. You can expect a few more campaign articles to come.
Always yours,
~Good Night

This seems a little melodramatic. On purpose I hope?
Feds are bad mmmkay
Possibly. We did have very, very bad relations with the Federalists. I had to abandon IRC. We hated and were hated by/everyone/ in the party for weeks. It was both glorious and terrible at the same time. Neverless, we both learned greatly from it. The Feds learned from the public backlash they got. WTP learned from the lashing out and suspicions that were cast upon us.
Then there were the numerous instances before and after this. We have never had a good relation with the Federalist Party, save maybe during half of Talos' leadership. Things were greatly improving as well. But eh. Yet again, people felt like being partisan for the sake of being partisan. The only difference this time around is that those people may just have overstepped their bounds to notably damaging extents. Hypocrisy is a fitting word for it.
I assume this is the point you are concerned about so I choose to address it first. As for successes and failures...well, feel free to read my past articles to see proof of that lol.
Well your certainly going to great lengths to improve things.
Originally I was. But, eh. Federalist Leadership made it known that they believed the partisanship was more beneficial than anything. Which is fine. I would much rather spend my time writing PPDBs than politiking with Feds (You can find a quote from me somewhere admitting to this on one of Ty's PP articles), but if that's the game we're forced to play....well, the only thing to do is respond.
Let your party grow. Let them experience new leaders and change, it'll be good for them. Well, better than recycling the PP seat in the same three people.
It's with reluctance that I return. Neverless, I have to. There's a certain element they need at the moment. WTP's Leadership does not believe in the PP being a grand kaiser of sorts, so I do not worry about my return bringing about staleness to the scene. Rather, it will allow the party to reach its full potential through the structure I hope to implement. Or re-implement.
Neverless, thanks for your concern in WTP's growth. If you'd like more information on the party's vitality or whatnot, I'm more than certain we could arrange to include you in the mailing list or some other faucet.
Your sarcasm is noted.
For the record, I meant what I wrote sincerely. But whatever.
Well yes, it was half sarcastic. I couldn't tell if you were being srs or not, so I risked it with a half serious. Forgive me for that.
But really here; This term, even though I'm f**ked over with school, shouldn't disappoint. I'll ofc have articles up to be checked up on, but if you ever want actual feels on how this recycling is working from an inside perspective, I'm more than happy to oblige. I have no intent of going for a god-set of terms again, so the challenge of having two successors ready will be interesting.
We keep electing the same 3 because...they do a wonderful job. who wants a job that everyone from other parties do nothing but troll you.
Yay Gecko!
Former ruling Federalist checking in. How did my wool spinning work out for everyone btw?
Didn't see this last night. Frost, you're more than aware about what I'm speaking of. And what will be done of it. But sure, take your jab.
I think you launched the first jab here Hale 😉
Voted for the Vince Lombardi quote.
