[WRP] - Huey George for CP

Day 2,293, 02:49 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Huey George

Introduction

I'd like to launch my campaign for Country President of the eUnited Kingdom and ask you to consider my manifesto.

However before you read my manifesto it's important for you to know where the eUK stands with a quick review of the Government's long standing policies which can be summarised as follows;

*Government includes Congress, the Country President and his cabinet...although I recognise the separate duties, roles and responsibilities of Congress and the Country President's Office

With a minimum wage of 0.10GBP and an average salary around 28GBP all eUK citizens can work for a fair wage or in a commune as desired
New and existing citizens are educated on fairly infrequently via Government Programmes and updated guides
The NHS receives no official Government support.
Work Tax value is 1.00% for the production of all commodities.
Value added Tax (VAT) is 1.00% on weapons, moving tickets, hospitals and defence systems
Value added Tax (VAT) is 10.00% on food
Import tax is levied at 99.00% on weapon raw materials.
Import tax is levied at 8.00% on weapons.
Import tax is levied at 2.00% on food raw materials.
Import tax is levied 1.00% on food, moving tickets, hospitals and defence systems.
Immigrants are allowed in the country based on the discretion of members of Congress
MPPs are with key allies and other countries during times of need
The current military structure of the eUK is directed by the MoD however unsupported beyond general guidance of battle prioritisation.
Allied war efforts are supported
The eUK is in direct conflict some of the times
The long term occupation of foreign territories by the eUK is actively carried out to maintain production bonuses or increase the eUK tax revenue.
Training ground loans are provided to a small amount of citizens who prove trustworthy.
No loans for weapon and food raw material building are provided.

Most CPs candidates who haven't created policies in these areas are likely, in conjunction with Congress, to maintain these current policies.

In Summary

We live in a society dominated by policies from the right side of the political spectrum. The NHS is relied on by many new citizens and run as a charity by a few which rely on the kind donations of members of the eUK public. The education of new citizens is fairly infrequent and too prescriptive.

Food which is taxed highly compared to weapons. Where many do receive weapons via their MUs, a fair proportion of the population purchase weapons. Where the Government could profit and distribute the wealth we instead ensure the wealth remains with the richest in society.

We make no effort via Government to allow our based on citizens to expand FRM/WRM production and export to foreign markets to generate incoming wealth from outside the eUK. Immigration has become a political football. The current military structure of the eUK is not nurtured, supported or consulted.

The society we've built for ourselves favours the individual who can afford to sell/buy in great quantity over society, a reflection of the new world itself.

I say we all can afford to support the government more via taxes and our time to improve society for us all, let's be driven by policy instead of personality.

The policies below will drive my presidency and the creation of a fairer and more wealth distributed society in the eUK

I'm going to go into the CP's office as a Workers' Rights Party County President and the policies Workers' Rights Party stand to ensure the Government* or when our party forms part of the Government are;

*Government includes Congress, the Country President and his cabinet...although we as a party recognise the separate duties, roles and responsibilities of Congress and the Country President's Office

Ensures all eUK citizens can work for a fair wage or in a commune as desired
Attempt to educate all new and existing citizens via Government Programmes and constantly updated guides
Support the NHS by providing Governmental donations to those who run the charity.
Maintain current Work Tax value
Decrease VAT on Food
Increase VAT on Weapons
Maintain current import tax levels.
Allow only select few immigrants in the country from allied nations.
Only have MPPs with key allies and other countries during times of need
Ensure the current military structure of the eUK in maintained by supporting all eUK's MUs by providing quarter of a percentage (0.25😵 of the country's tax revenue for each active 'fighter' in all British Military Units from an average day's revenue from across 7 days. So effectively one day a week the Commanders of UK Military Units would receive a percentage of country's tax revenue to spend in their unit as the unit sees fit based on who has been fighting in their unit.
Fight and support all allied war efforts
Ensure the eUK is in direct conflict most of the times
Support the long term occupation of foreign territories by the eUK only if a bonus is being achieved or it increases the eUK tax revenue signifcantly.
In terms of training ground loans provide a small amount of these loans to citizens who prove trustworthy.
In terms of weapon and food raw material building loans provide a small amount of these loans to citizens who prove trustworthy
Explore opportunities to expand export opportunities for eUK citizens

Statements
The Workers' Rights Party generally speaking feel the eUK public are responsible and resilient and require only a fair and supportive government.
The Workers' Rights Party support and promote minor reform to ensure Government is better organised, accountable and transparent with no corruption.
The CP office and Congress will work together to achieve outcomes.

As Country President – I’d be responsible for;
Deciding with Congress the overall strategy for the country, the above policies needs to support of Congress, which I hope to obtain
Ensuring the Ministry of Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Defence & Finance have the right citizens in post to inform, advise and guide Congress and I
Ensuring the wider eUK citizenship are informed about the activities of Government and have the chance to contribute their say with referendums held on nationally important decisions.
Being active, approachable and resolute in leading and protecting the eUK

To inform, advise and guide Congress and I, I'd seek the applicants for;
The CP Office comprising of two Vice Country Presidents
A small council of the Ministers representing the Ministries of Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Defence & Finance. (1 Minister for each Ministry)
Each appointed minister could then appoint their own junior ministers as they feel fit to carry out the duties that have come to have been expected by each Ministry.

There would also be
A war council made up of the Commanders of all eUK MUs and the Ministry of Defence and their selected staff.

Promise
Despite my vision for the eUK my promise to the citizenship of the UK is communication and reflection. I’d like to give the majority of the eUK citizenship and the Congress chosen to represent them more ‘power’ in the direction the country heads. I feel with this power we'd choose as a community to live in a fairer and more wealth distributed society. Although this 'power' does already exist, we as a society have just grown used to a CP office and their team running things.

Practical Approach

Campaign of the Day I'd set it based on the advice of a ‘war’ council made up of the Commanders of all eUK MUs and the Ministry of Defence and their selected staff.

Message to new citizens I'd consider altering the message that new citizens receive when they register and discuss any proposed amendment with Congress.

Alliance (Mutual Protection Pact) I will discuss all MPPs with Congress, taking consul from appointed Ministers representing the MoFA, MoD and MoF and together we'll decide on which are in the best interest of the UK.

Natural enemy I'd consider proposing a neighbouring country as the UK's natural enemy as the situation dictates and once again with discussion and agreement with Congress taking consul from appointed Ministers representing the MoFA, MoD and MoF.

Airstrike As with 'Natural Enemy' an airstrike to a non-neighbouring country would be proposed as the situation dictates and once again with discussion and agreement with Congress taking consul from appointed Ministers representing the MoFA, MoD and MoF.

The remaining four laws Country presidents can propose I'd be very unlikely to propose however are listed for completeness.
Trade embargo
Propose peace
Declare war
Buy construction

Close

The policies above will form the basis of what I do however not my definitive approach if the voice of the people differs. However I believe the citizenship of the eUK will share mine and the Workers' Rights Party vision of a fairer eUK society with less divisions

So I hope when you do go to vote, you consider voting for me.

Thanks for reading
