Law Proposals and Votes

MPP
President of Spain proposed a mutual protection pact with United Kingdom

I voted Yes. A fellow Sirius alliance member who we are in a pact with for mutual protection, mutual advantage and mutual gain.

The vote ended;
19 YES votes to 10 NO votes in the UK
32 YES vote to 1 NO votes in Spain

MPP
President of United Kingdom proposed a mutual protection pact with Lithuania

I voted Yes. A ProSirius members and valuable ally. The Lithuanians are also in need of UK fighters to support them in their war efforts.

The vote ended;
23 YES votes to 4 NO votes in the UK
25 YES vote to 1 NO votes in Lithuania

MPP
President of United Kingdom proposed a mutual protection pact with USA

I voted Yes. Like Spain before a fellow Sirius alliance member who we are in a pact with for mutual protection, mutual advantage and mutual gain.

The vote ended;
13 YES votes to 10 NO votes in the UK
45 YES vote to 1 NO votes in USA

VAT & Import Taxes: Food

Value added tax (VAT) to decrease to 1% from 10%
Import tax remains unchanged at 1%

I voted Yes. It's been a long standing WRP policy to decrease VAT on food.

The vote ended;
19 YES votes to 5 NO votes

The Work Tax will be changed from 1% to 3%

I voted Yes. For too long we've been a society focused on the individual as oppose to the collective, I feel there is real support our community to make a change to a Government which spends and supports us all instead of rewarding economic division and individual wealth generation via low taxes. The change in work tax is only the first step next we need some worthwhile effective Government spend to follow and justify this change in work tax.

The vote ended;
16 YES votes to 10 NO votes

VAT & Import Taxes: Weapons

Value added tax (VAT) to increase to 5% from 1%
Import tax remains unchanged at 8%

I voted Yes. Once again it's been a long standing WRP policy to increase VAT on weapons.

The vote ended;
11 YES votes to 12 NO votes

The Work Tax will be changed from 3% to 1%

I voted No. I saw no reason to revoke the decision made less than a day or so ago.

The vote stands Day 2,377 of the new world at 03:00;
11 YES votes to 13 NO votes
