[Woldy's Warriors] Regiment Captain Manifesto
Ryan I
Why you should elect me to be the new regiment captain
Tally ho! my article may not look pretty but as I am sure you know our MU is having graphics made at this very moment. So, I am going to talk to you about why I should be the new Captain. (after CottonPicken). Here are the reasons why:
-I am an eUK military enthusiast
-I believe that a stronger eUK is a better eUK
-The truest patriot you will ever find among our lands
-Believes in serving the King to the last breath until discharged
-I am a General in rank
Let me go into detail, I from a young age have been interested in the British armed forces. I have said to my dad on many occasions 'I love being British' I have always been interested in our history such as the times of empire under Queen Victoria's reign and I know that we used to have over 1 million troops!Today we have a meager 80,000! Our whole army could not even fill Wembly stadium! Just think about that. I have also, since a young age been interested in this cold piece of rock in the arctic circle. This has since, given me a strange love of this country.
Furthermore, I have since meeting HM Mr Woldy, forged a friendship of strength. Thus, I joined this Military unit. I have sometimes wanted to be a grenadier guard! However, I believe this is the way to show your respect and affection for a great monarch such as Mr Woldy by serving in his private army 'till the death. *All hail Woldy*
Finally, I am a General in military rank. This does look quite odd due to the fact I am only level 26! Despite this, I think it shows my dedication to the Military and I wish to prove this by being the regiment's captain. It would be the greatest honor the MU could do me.
Thank you, I hope you elect me as captain.

At what point of time did we have 1 million troops ryan? It may have something to do with conscription, the fact that the army was compulsory or the fact that we had an empire controlling a 1/3 of the world and many of those served in the british army
You pretty much answered it yourself.
but i want to know what period of time it was when we had over 1 million soldiers, not that it's as any as china have now though...
WW1 time
In WW2 Britain had 6 million soldiers and over 4 million commonwealth/empire soldiers
good luck
Thanks.
