[WHPR] OMS, April Fools and Guns!

Greetings!

Over the weekend, the Administration’s musings on OMS were unceremoniously announced in an article that blatantly misrepresented the true intent behind the overhaul. This isn’t a death sentence, but it is a complete reworking. The Oblige administration wishes to remind the American public that a rush to judgement is not fair to themselves, or their leaders. Change is difficult, but many times it is necessary. Congress will be receiving a full briefing on the Administration’s plans, as soon as it is completed.

Anyone grandstanding on this issue for personal gain, or political standing, should at the very least wait until they see a formal proposal, so they don’t go off writing half-cocked articles or forum posts. This isn’t the death of militias. Formal MU’s outside of the government’s control hold a vital place in our defense system, and Oblige has no intention of killing them off.

Americans may have noticed an interesting Natural Enemy proposal over the weekend. Accompanied by a pair of interesting MPP Proposals. Fear not Americans, our glorious nation has not fallen to the levels of Great Britain, and betrayed our closest allies. This was nothing but a little bit of April Fool’s Day humor on the part of former President, Alexander_Auctoritas. The Natural Enemy of Canada was never in any danger (remember, it needs 66% to pass!). President Auctoritas even wrote an article to accompany his April 1st Trolling.

We would also like to proffer up a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that donated weapons, and food to the always lovely Molly Emma. All proceeds will benefit the citizen soldiers of the eUS Civilian MU.

There will be a Presidential Debate on eNPR on Tuesday, April 3rd @ 19:00eRep. It will feature the two candidates Joseph Dinero from the Bastards of Liberty party, as well as Artela from the United States Workers Party. There will be a wide variety of topics covered, and all Americans are encouraged to attend. We’ll also be dragging a couple of terribly elite hosts out of retirement, to act as impartial hosts for the evening!
