Hello fellow Canucks!
We are at war with the UK. Again. Yep, you read right. Why? Because one stupid congressman decided to propose the NE with basically no 'real' discussion. Howeer, you would think it would get rejected. And the CP certainly disapproved of it and told everyone to vote 'No'. But why was it voted up? Many suggest lack of communication between congress and congress, congress and citizens, and congress and CP. How can this be improved? It's up to them to log onto the forums.
But you must still ask; why did they vote 'Yes'? Did they want more TPs? Were they bribed? Did they just 'vote for the lulz'? Did they not realise this would cause havoc in eCanada? One could argue it was all of those reasons. I think it's appalling. Congress represent the citizens, or are supposed to, yet they do stunts like this? I spoke to my British friends, and they and their government are convinced it was the citizens that needed this. Yet we didn't! So, what happened?
Well, the same stupid person that proposed the NE is now running around proposing CP impeachment, claiming that Jacobi is a 'bad president' and is against Canada. It's true, Jacobi is saying not to fight the eUK, but that is only because this war was not supposed to happen. And then the stupid person (let's refer to them as the 'idiot') says that the campaign was started at a time that was an advantage to the UK. I myself realised this as I live in the UK and found it strange that it was started at a wonderful time for us, but I shrugged it off. As there is a reason for it. Or, at least, I think there is. There is no confirmation, but I believe it was done for two reasons. One: So the war would end faster as it was a advantage to the UK and he ordered Canada not to fight. And Two: It was purely accidental.
And he has the nerve to say that Jacobi cannot be trusted. What an idiot 'Idiot' is... But I can counter-argue! One of the best ways to know if a CP is top-notch, is how fast the impeachment proposal gets talked about. Why? This means some people feel threatened by the CP, and that this CP is changing the country. Whether for good or bad, is up to you. And, Jacobi has commitment. Now that is something Sperry, Rylde and many other CPs didn't have when they 'did a Sperry'. This must mean something.
But, wait! There is more! The idiot has a history! *Gasp!* Shock horror! The author of the article abused his forum moderator masking and secretly deleted a vote in Congress in order to change te results of a speaker election. Tsk, tsk, tsk! Naughty, naughty! Now, who's unrealiable? Sounds like a Rolo/Rylde drone! He was removed from Congress for that very reason. Wow. Great history, mate. Very reliable! (In case you couldn't see past my British sarcasm, that was a sarcastic remark!)

And the war was started at a time that benefitted the UK, so it can start a battle, so that Spoland, UK and Serbia can invade our vital regions... (Hetalia pun, ftw!)

Congress. As far as I can see, Congress is just a bunch of credit-card users that can easily get bribed and do bribe. They seem to do the exact opposite the country needs. How can you say that's what the country wanted?
And that was just 33 people. There are at least 1500 other active citizens in Canada. That isn't even 10% of the population. I'm sorry but, that is impossible to account for what the nation needs. And what evidence do you have that shows they weren't bribed to vote that answer?

There is a difference between a Training war and an actual war. A war is not stable and peaceful, wereas a Training War is.

The only thing that irks me right now is the assumption that apparently every congress member buys gold and is bribed/bribing people. I for one have never bought gold. Also, I have actually never been offered a bribe by anyone (Except Dan Wang).
I think the corruption in congress is quite overblown. Will people constantly accuse people of bribery? Of course! However, I think a lot of it may just be unfounded.
I think I bought gold once back in V1. Biggest waste of my measly Hardee's paycheck ever.
Congress isn't corrupt. It just lacks organization and a cohesive set of team goals.

I guess Uchiha could have just been saying the people in Congress have credit cards and not implying that they buy gold with them. But that wouldn't be relevant to eRepublik. It'd be like saying Congress if full of people who eat food.
As for all these bribes that are going around, I'd like to see a list of suspects and their crimes while you're at it. Would be quite entertaining to read.

Jacobi know better to present himself as CP candidate than being a real president. Splashing the congress works better than planning and presenting.

Credit-card isn't used just for buying gold. I can offer you real money as a bribe too. It's a quite common thing in eRep.

I'm not going to tell you what to write, but I have a few things to say. First of all, you're not going to keep many friend in MDP if you say things like "Typical behaviour of idiotic drones that can't think for themselves." Second, I don't think it's valid to accuse Rylde of anything when he hasn't even been around throughout this. Lastly, if you're going to write an article completely outing somebody, throw in the name. It looks silly and childish just calling them "the idiot".
