[Wales TUP] First few days on the job

Day 1,621, 09:28 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Snugz

Literally no-one has asked what I've been doing since getting elected, so I thought I'd share.

I've signed the Parliamentary Pledge, read through the public Statute Book, and started voting for or against proposals.

The very first thing I did was to vote to transfer a lot of tax money into my private account the Bank of England which can then be doled out into supplies for battles and the popular Land Grants programme. This is arguably the most important thing Congress does in a sane country at risk of being wiped; in the months without Parliament sitting, we had to rein in Government spending a great deal, which would ultimately begin to affect citizen retention and morale. I should know, I bailed to Sweden. But thanks to the policies of the Talon Karrde administration we've pulled ourselves back and live to fight another day.

Not much else to report just now. We lost Wales soon afterwards, which was to be expected; USA only spared it from invasion because we'd publicly planned to focus on every other region we held at the time. But we held our ground for long enough to get the important congress seats & can now resupply ourselves ready for next month. Parliament knows that the war is putting a strain on our nation but continue to fight back against the Franco-Canadi-Amerifags and please respect the treaty with Ireland and abstain from fighting in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Thank you eUK,
