[Wales MP] End of Term Report

Day 1,646, 05:23 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Snugz

I got round to approving a couple of citizenships before another MP ninja'd them. I used my last proposal to chuck another 200000 GBP into the country accounts, and not to impeach Applesauce ( :3 )...

I discovered who my friends really are, and feel a bit more at home in a more active and forward-thinking political party.

It's true. Congress does nothing. All the power in Country Administration is held by ministers and ex-officio advisers. Thankfully, other MPs, monarchs, and emperors bringing this to light has led to a clamour for reform for the next few months, and hopefully the next tranche of congressmen and congresswomen will wrest more control over home affairs.

Me, I'm not active enough to contribute meaningfully to a ministry to warrant such power. My 5G went straight to ESO when I crossed over from TUP, and I'd rather stay inactive than commit to something I can't sustain.

The sensitive forum is void of discussion, of new ideas, of any conflict between the parties at present, other than the predictable bashing of the UKPP, who haven't the slightest bit of interest in defending themselves or engaging in those debates, which fuels the cycle all over again, unfortunately.

But UKPP and ESO share a belief, in transcending the bad old ways of inheriting power in the eUK. While we don't share beliefs in much else, and come from opposite sides of the political and engagement spectrum, I hope at least to see the seeds of a new rivalry to produce robust opposition & real "politics".

The Ireland issue has remained on the back burner while Appleby Mckay ejected the Americans and French from our lands. The Canadians still block the way to delicious fruit, but we have far more land today than I expected to thanks to ONE coordination and the Polish-Hungarian putsch. Louth is important to us as a nation - Dublin less so. But without the North West or Wales secure, they are useless to us, as we'd have no route for those resources to London.

Ireland has been good to us, respecting our treaty and not fighting against us except in rebel NI/SC RWs. We should continue to expel the Canadians from the eUK, and only when they are gone, even think about asking the Irish to hand over Louth and/or Dublin.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me last time, and good luck to my fellow ESO candidates across the eUK this time. It's time to get elected to our rightful place in the eUK, the one we occupy at the moment - the biggest in Parliament. I KNOW we can do it. Hell, I got elected, y'all should be able to as well....
