American Soldiers Capture Papua
America has successfully captured Papua, Indonesia's capital, today. This comes under a tight battle for the region, and numerous RW's elsewhere.
Though Papua is back in American hands, it looks as if our Budget office has taken quite the beating, losing around 13 million USD.
P.S- We probably didn't spend that all on Papua, it's probably just being mobilized for further battles. That being said, we no doubt spent alot on this war.
Today was not without loss, however, due to a successful Indo-backed RW in Mexico.
On top of this, we almost lost Asturias to another Indo-back RW.

Australia vs Indonesia
After backup by their ally, Brazil, Australia have managed to reclaim large parts of their original territory. The only parts left in Indonesia's hands are Victoria and New South Wales. And knowing Indonesia and the importance of Victoria, being Australia's capital; Indonesia won't let go of it easily without a major fight. And they've already had a few bouts against Indonesia, losing all of them so far. But Indonesia is looking weak. It has a largely depleted gold store and a very low CC bank. And with only 4 of the possible 10 country resources, their people must feel deprived. And it seems the great Indonesian Empire is falling with its Australian colonies being depleted and it's Kiwi colonies slowly disappearing; there's only short time before it completely collapses and Australia goes for it. And it's that moment the Aussies should be going for, and try to reclaim their own regions. And with Indonesia being distracted by the war with the US, and the US seeming to want to go to war with Indonesia too, Australia can reclaim its regions while Indonesia is distracted. And it's currently winning in New South Wales at 25 to 12. Looks like Australia will be green again soon!

FYROM Vs. Italy
It just seems like Italy can't catch a break anymore. A change of scene for FYROM (yet all too familiar for Italy) had them invading all of Italy's recaptured core regions, taking everything with the exception of Calabria, a fish region on the southern tip of mainland Italy, which is inaccesable due to Greece holding the only two bordering regions to Calabira. There is no resistance war retaking any of the Greecan regions, the RW (at the time of writing) in Lazio is currently being won by FYROM 64-2. Also due to the Greece/FYROM NAP it is unlikely FYROM would attack Greece regions just to get at the one Italian fish region. Oh and FYROM has very little donations into the airstrike fund, so Italy seems to be safe with their one region for now.

Can't write much, just thought you might like to know...


Bulgaria Airstrikes Bolivia.
Bulgaria has launched the first Airstrike in this game's history, attacking the South American Country of Bolivia.
Though many will wonder why Bulgaria chose Bolivia as their target, the answer is simple- To have a landbridge with Argentina.
You see, Bulgaria's President recently threatened Argentina with wipe for Argentina's wipe of Chile. (A member of Bulgaria's alliance, CoT)
Argentina initially laughed this off, not taking his comments too seriously.
But once Airstrikes came into play..well, things changed.
The reason why Bulgaria attack Bolivia instead of Argentina was because Bolivia doesn't have any allies, and is partially PTOed by Argentina last time I checked. On top of this, Bolivia is a weak nation.
In summary- We can expect things to get a bit more feisty in South America these days.

Portugal- You Guys Just Won't Die, Will you ?
Portugal has went an astounding 20 days without a wipe recently, following what looked to be an imminent wipe after the loss at Extremadura.
Though Portugal was down to 2 territories at the worst of the Spanish onslaught, the nation's prospects aren't looking as grim now, with Centro and the Azores newly-liberated.
Though Spain has all it needs of Portugal (Aluminum), these victories are none-the-less significant.
Spain will be forced to deal with a hostile Portugal for some time to come, due to Portugal's unwillingness to sign a peace treaty with their Spanish neighbors.

Poland Declares war on France
As predicted, Poland has now declared war on France. Though France managed to sneak back onto the map once "The Fellowship" started their assault on Croatia,Croatia was swiftly defeated, leaving France as an open target.
France has currently lost Auvernge, and The Rhone Alps. With France down to 2 territories, a wipe is imminent.
In summary- France danced with the Pink Army, and got their toes stepped on.

Albanian Peace Treaty
Albania has signed a Peace Treaty with FYROM recently, which will put South Eastern Albania back in Albanian hands. This comes after a 17 day wipe Albania has endured, after FYROM put down a revolt against Macedonian rule long ago.
This move will help the young Albania, since it will not have 1 food resource to it's name. On top of this, Albania will have a congress (So money can be donated) and..er..yeah.
That being said, the Fellowship now has 1 less damage drain to worry about now.

Hungary Vs.Romania
Romania, under a full assault by the Brotherhood of NOD (Command and Conqueor reference right there) is under a Western assault from Hungary. Romania currently holds only Crisana, which is under siege, and (at the time of writing) looks like the battle could swing either way. There is also a RW recently started in Maramures, which is very close as well, and if all goes well for Romania on the Western Front, then they will hold the inititive vs Hungary and hold two core regions. If not, well then Hungary wont be able to find anymore Romania to attack.

Serbia Captures Bucovina
Serbian forces have successfully captured Bucovina, adding yet another victory to Serbia's 6 wins no loses campaign against Romania.All that's left of Romania now is Dobrogea, and Maramures.
Though it looks as if Maramures will allotted to Hungary (As is the case when a nation is doubly invaded- certain regions are allotted for certain bonuses), Dobrogea presents a much more worrying problem. (If you're TEDEN, anyways)
Y'see, Bulgaria has recently launched an Airstrike on Bolivia. This was being done to liberate Chile, VIA gaining a border with Argentina and attacking the nation.
Once Argentina is distracted, Chile can come back onto the map. Hell, Peru and mildy PTOed Bolivia could join in too.
Though Bulgaria would get that, they would most likely lose their homeland to Turkey. This is where Dobrogea comes in.
Dobrogea will link Serbia to Turkey, meaning that Serbia can attack Turkey before Turkey does any serious damage to the Bulgarian homeland.
It would also give Serbia a HUGE new arena to play in. (The Mediterranean, that is)
Of course, this is nothing but a prediction. And plus, holding Romania, Croatia, Bosnia and Turkey might be too much for even the Serbian Empire to handle.

Croatia- Fellowship Claims First Victim
What can I say ?
The new alliance, "The Fellowship", has claimed it's first victim recently, following Croatia's defeat in their adopted capital of Burgenland.
Though Croatia looked screwed from the get-go (a 5 front war, with 3 of your enemies being FYROM, Slovenia, and Poland) this still will go down as a victory for the new alliance.
Croatia is now without bonuses, or Homeland.
On the brightside, FellowShip Forces have pulled out of Austria, meaning the nation known for a good weapons market (Seriously though, they sell cheap weapons there ^.^) is now available to buy from again back at 20/40 bonuses.
The Swiss on the other hand are still partially occupied by FYROM for the bonuses. Still, the Swiss are now at 20/20 bonuses.

Finland Loses Kirde-Eesti.
Finland has lost their 20% food bonus provided by the occupied Estonian territory of Kirde-Eesti recently, following a successful Estonian attack on the area.
This comes right after Finland beautifully retreated from Estonia's border with Latvia, meaning that a 2 front war against ABC is not on the horizon for Finland.
On top of this, Finlands military is facing large cuts due to the new economic situation.

Ukrainian Rebels Assault North of Nation.
Russia has had a harder time occupying Northern Ukraine recently, due to increasing support for the RW's there.
Northern Ukraine at current provides Russia with a grain bonus, and was captured during the Muscovian war.

Ukrainian forces wipe Moldova
Following the massive invasion of Ukraine just weeks ago, Ukraine has surged back - with a vengeance. The two nations have been bitter rivals recently, originating with a dispute over a training war that escalated to involve EDEN HQ. Moldova has now been completely wiped for two days. The Moldovan occupation has granted Ukraine two food bonuses, Deer and Cattle. It is likely that Moldova will regain some if not all of its regions within the week, but it is currently losing the resistance war in Chisinau.

Turkish Soldiers attack Plovdiv, Free Aegean Coast.
Turkey has liberated the Aegean coast of Turkey, which has lead to the 2nd Turkish attack on Plovdiv within the last week.
Due to the fact that Bulgarian forces are busy with their Airstrike on the Bolivian region of Pando, Turkey is facing no opposition in their battle for the Bulgarian region.
Turkey will gain a weapon's bonus if they win this battle.
The score is 55-0 for Turkey.

Cyprus-Saudi Arabia peace deal
Cyprus and Saudi Arabia, long-standing rivals in the Arabian peninsular conflicts, announced a groundbreaking deal that would change the situation in the region. In exchange for peace, Cyprus would allow Saudi Arabia to retain the region of Al Riyadh, giving Saudi Arabia two safe territories (though, the airstrike may change that). This will allow Saudi to additional members in the next Congress. The deal expires September 10. In reaction to the Cypriot-Arabian deal, the Israelis proposed Natural Enemy against Saudi Arabia and, if victorious in this rising war, could threaten the peace deal with Cyprus.

Iran has declared war on Pakistan recently, attacking the only Pakistani region of Balochistan.
Iran would gain nothing from this battle, but none the less, are winning it 65-34. *Insert Pre-Written Dio shall Smite them message here.*

Filipino-Malaysian war.
The Philippines and Malaysia have declared war on eachother recently, following Malaysia's successful liberation from Indonesia. The Philippines has won the first round of this war, successfully capturing the Malaysian territory of Sabah. This has given the Philippines a 20% food bonus.
This war is very perplexing indeed, due to the fact that Malaysia and the Philippines usually have a peaceful, if not Bromantic, relationship. This is due to their common enemy- Indonesia.
