[vMoF] Slovenia and Other Stuff

So there's a lot happening right now, gonna try to cover most of it.
First off because it's first on everyone's mind, the Slovenia issue. I'll be brief with this topic because frankly I don't want to poke it with a 10 foot pole, but here goes.
We had a land rental agreement with the Slovenians for DS. It expired on the 5th, and Plasma did attempt to renew it, but *somehow* (I seriously have no clue who ordered it, if anyone even did) an RW started in DS and *somehow* (I also have no clue who decided this would be a good idea considering the negotiations which were going on at the time) it got official backing from the government and you guys know how the actual battle went: The Italians fought hard with us and we requested CoT support multiple times but they just sat around playing with themselves.
I do not know if it was us, CoT, or just individual Swiss who started (or ordered the starting of) the actual battle, but I have heard all three stories from different people >.>
So Slovenia saw the RW next and decided to screw us over. They decided not to negotiate for the renewal of the agreement and we started flapping and screaming about them breaking the agreement. In reality, neither side broke the agreement while it was in effect but that fact does not excuse Slovenia from being dicks and refusing to negotiate and that does not excuse us from starting/supporting/whatever the RW in the first place. Both sides are equally at fault.
After the battle's end, the issue festered for a few days, yada yada, Rican and Sa1nts decided to initiate a huge international argument, and now we have the current state of Swiss/Slovenian relations. We're both debating the technicalities of the contract while trying to ignore the fact that the Swiss government is insulting us in their official government messages by saying that our government, which is 100% legitimate is a PTO group.
In short, Both sides have pulled some low blows in the actual events that happened, but when the pissing contest started, Slovenia didn't have to start spewing outright lies. All that the entire explosion did was make us look like butthurt wimps and them look like braindead assholes.

How about the economy? It is getting better. Like I said in my last article, trickle-down. In an attempt to contribute to the rise of the economy, I've finally finished saving up for WRM companies and I've started taking on employees, for, you know, normal wages 😃
I've hired one person this morning, and I plan to hire 2 more within 10 days.

We can probably agree that our economy is not in the best state right now, but it could be worse than it is. We CAN make it improve! Do your part!

They did refuse to give us back OUR region, but that was after the agreement expired.

You don't know lots of thinks, however all was discussed in Foreign Affairs mass PM
The RW was launched by members of the government.Synchronised with italians one. Italians don't fought for us by the way, they fought for them very hard in two battles.
As the agreement expired on the 5th and nothing was decide, the logic thing precised in the past agreement was the 2 regions should be take back by the Swiss people.
However, I must admit that sa1nts makes too much, considering a conflict were there is no conflict. T-And the problem is there: there's no coordination.
Finaly, I was dissapointed about slovenian cp comments and citicisms. Some Slovenians react like 5 years old boys through newspaper.
Lets stop this stupid situation.

Why is the most important topic whos is fault for the conflict?
With this method you are no closer to a solution and the problem is only increasing.

both? did we? Switzerland tried to handle it diplomatically for MONTHS
You can't say the RW wasn't a mistake on the Swiss part. From what I saw from the logs our cp was waiting for our MoFA, and you just automatically assumed the agreement is not going to get renewed 'cause of the delay and started an RW. I don't know what the reasoning was behind stopping payments, but the RW was all on you.
Hi, Lissa Swan. : ) I'm an eSwiss citizen who has kind of sat here and watched everything unfold. From outside of the chaos, it looks like eSwitzerland maybe had a little oopsi/mistake by starting the RW because they got nervous. Then eSlovenia just kinda freaked out and began saying lies like we're all PTOers here in eSwitzerland. I basically think it all started by a silly mistake that could have been EASILY resolved if people had co-operated. : /
