[Vlad] Leader

Hi India,

this article is about serbian short story called "Leader". Its on you to find a conclusion after reading it. Ok, so lets begin:


In one small Serbian village lived about 700 people. Village was very poor and people were starving. They did everything possible to survive but after a while they came up with a conclusion that their only hope is to leave that village and find another place for them to stay.

So the decision was made, however people still felt that something was missing. They desperately needed a leader. They knew that they couldnt give up their lifes to someone they dont trust, or to someone that is not capable of leading them. After few minutes people formed small alliances and everyone was proposing his or hers candidate. After a while someone said that the best leader would be some sort of a traveller, the person that knows the terrain and so on.

Somewhere in the corner there was one old guy sitting and doing absolutely nothing. Someone said that he came in the village few days ago and havent said a word. They concluded he must be very wise. After a while they came to him and ashked him to be their leader so he simply replied "Yes!".

People were sad to leave their home however they knew it was their last chance to survive. When they started moving people forgot to think with their heads, allowing leader to do that for them. He always chose the worst possible way to lead them trough. He never followed road. Even the children saw the right way, and they tried to show it to the others but they werent listening. After time people started dying.



But whatever happened to them, leader always survived without a scratch. People blinded followed him without a question. But then most of them died and after a while only 3 of them were left. They were desperate. They left their homes, their land and everyting in the hope for better tomorrow but they found only death and nothing else. One of them came up to his Leader and said "Where are you taking us? We are almost all dead!" and he replied "Arent you all on number?". The follower confused could not believe his words so he said "Cant you see? There is only 3 of us left!", "I cant", said the Leader "I am blind since I was born".

Shocked the last 3 man could not believe their ears. They blindly followed a blind man into their downfall.

"Where are we supposed to go?" - said one of them.
"We dont know" - said the other.




I think the same question can be asked for India. Where are we supposed to go? Who is the blind guy that is leading us? Is he really Alias or someone else? Open your eyes India, dont follow people like flock of sheep. Think for yourself. Chose what is best for India, dont let the others chose for you.

No one else is coming to help us, face it. Its on us to protect our country. Its on us to save what can be saved. Its on us to again unite under banners of United India.
