~*~ Vermont: My Endorsement ~*~

Day 546, 20:56 Published in USA USA by Joseph Schmo

Hello Vermont:

This may be the last time I speak with you all as Congressman from Vermont. As such, I would like to announce who I endorse for congress in the Green Mountain State this month. Although I had a very difficult decision to make with three great candidates (ligtreb, Oprah Winfrey, and Robert Loggia) planning to run in search of your vote, it is with great pleasure I offer my endorsement for Congress in Vermont to ligtreb of the United States Workers Party.

As you might expect, this was a very difficult decision for me. Oprah is a Nationalist, and as Nationalist VP it may seem odd that I am not endorsing her. I do believe Oprah is a great candidate, and that Vermont cannot go wrong electing her to office, however, I am throwing party politics aside and endorsing whom I believe is the best candidate for the job.

ligtreb has run for Congress a few times (to be honest, I am not sure how many, but at least once or twice), and has not won yet. ligtreb is extremely knowledgable about the eUSA and always puts forth a great Congressional platoform. ligtreb is also the current Welcoming Committee Chairman and a member of the Department of Education, two jobs partially centered around the forums. This is the kind of experience a citizen needs in order to be successful in congress, especially in the eUSA where the forums are the hub of all congressional activity.

ligtreb is also one of the most active non congressmen around. He is constantly on IRC, always on the forums, and responds to PMs very quickly. He is also very active within his party, the USWP. As much as people hate the USWP, it has a brilliant group of people active on the forums, and those who are active in the party usually become good politicians through exposure to the other good polticians in the party. I have no doubt in my mind that ligtreb has absorbed much of that information and will know how to be effective for Vermont.

However, as I said before, both of the other candidates are worthy competitors. Although she is young, Oprah Winfrey has proved she is extremely smart and knows what she is doing through her platform and her interview with Senator Littleton. However, I am not convinced she is quite ready for Congress due to her lack of experience in the government at any level. Robert Loggia is also a fine adversary, however I feel ligtreb's activity and experience outweigh that of Mr. Loggia.

All in all, Vermont, you really cannot go wrong this election. All three candidates are great, however in my opinion ligtreb rises above the rest. Either way, Vermont, you should feel extremely lucky, as this is the first time in a long time (perhaps in your history) that you have had so many fine candidates in the congressional elections. I look forward to seeing this election play out.

Sincerely,
Joseph Schmo
Congressman from Vermont
