Two-term Louisiana Senator, Bienville

I've been a citizen of eUSA for four months now. At the start, I had aspirations to run for the Senate, but I eventually decided not to. Why?

A) I started up my own company and I decided to focus on running it.
😎 I was thoroughly impressed with my government. We're they perfect? No. But I felt that they were competent and has our best interest in mind.

Times have changed. In the last few months I've watched a complete meltdown of our governmental officials over petty disputes. These are the people who are suppose to be leading and setting the example for newer citizens, and they acted like children. eUSA has suffered greatly because of it. I don't doubt our ability to recover, but now that USWP and possibly the Libs are boycotting the election: I am afraid of what will happen to our great country.

A new generation of leaders will have to step forward; a group that is willing to take on the challenges facing us in the dignified manner that said issues deserve. It's a new world now, and it's time we take our role more seriously, both for the benefit of ourselves as well as benefit of every citizen in this eWorld. The next group of leaders must act for the better of our country over the better of ourselves or our parties.

I honestly believe that I am the right person for this role; I will do everything in my power to fight for the citizens of the state that I have spent my entire life in, and I will do everything in my power to make this country the best it can be. I have no problem making tough decisions, whether it's the popular or not, as long as it's the right choice.

I refuse to be a puppet to party politics. I refuse to take part in vain arguments when real issues need to be settled. I refuse to put myself and my position before those of my constituents. I refuse to make decisions that will not benefit the country in the long term. And I refuse to allow this country to be vulnerable to our enemies.

I say all this not because I feel that the citizens of eUSA have been let down, but because I think that they could do better. So if your sick of the unstable economy, the bickering between parties, and the general immaturity that has taken over our government, vote for me. I can't promise a complete change over night, but I can promise that I will work hard to get our great state to where it should be.

Issues:

Taxation: Import taxes are way too low for our own good. Companies from other countries are selling goods on our market for reduced price because their employees have lower salaries. This drives our economy down. I am not saying that eUSA should become an autarkic country, but we should even the playing field so that those employing citizens of our country will not be put out of business. This will help everybody out as salaries and profits will raise.

War: Having a strong military is vital to the survival of the country. We should continue to support the efforts to defend our land and our allies. War should always be considered a last resort, but there is little doubt in my mind that there are people out there (PEACE) that would like nothing more than to see the eUSA fall. They should be stopped at all cost. In times of peace, war games should be used so that citizens can train and keep their wellness up.

Foreign Affairs: For far too long we have treated our potential allies with less respect than they deserve. We have set idly by as our "friends" have suffered from PTOs and military defeat. It is no coincidence that our failure to act when they were in trouble has lead us to our current situation. There are countries that would have gladly helped us out in our time of need had we done the same. The constant backstabbing and changing in attitude towards countries just because the winds of change have shifted has to stop. All nations should know that being aligned with eUSA is a two way street. However, that two way street must work on both ends. We will not provide charity when other nations can at least cover the cost. It may be in both of our best interest to keep a nation from take over, but we shouldn't have to pay for it if the nation can easily afford it.

New Citizens: It is extremely important to teach new citizens key elements of the game. Most notably wellness and fighting. We should not only make an effort to provide resources for players looking for it, but we should also look for new ways to reach out to “two-clickers.” The minimum wage should stay at $1 USD. With services like MoW and constant war games (or now, real war), even if there is a job offer at the minimum wage (which is rare), there are more than enough resources out there for new players to stay ahead. The most important thing for us to do is to introduce them to the game in a way that is easy to comprehend.

Transparency: I am a huge proponent of transparency in government as long as it does not compromise national security. I will make it a point to make a weekly post highlighting how I voted in all matters and why I did so (once again, as long as it doesn’t compromise national security.) My office will always be open to all of my constituents. I encourage all citizens to take an active part in the government. I will always respond to emails with any questions or concerns.

Party Relations: As I stated earlier, I will not stand for bickering between parties. Anytime I see fights break out, I will do all that I can to mediate. There is always a compromise; it’s just a matter of working out debates in a level-headed manner. Cooler heads will prevail. We all have a responsibility to the citizens of our country to make the best decisions for everyone.

So what do you say eLouisiana? Are you ready for change? As a girl born and raised in Shreveport, I think that together, we can make progress happen.
