[USWP] Looking back

Day 2,092, 16:18 Published in USA Poland by Wild Owl

Greetings Zombies and others,

Almost a month ago, I was elected by you to lead our party for the month. Its been an interesting month for us both on the international and domestic level. We continue to face stronger opponents on the battlefields and fight heavily with the odds against us. However, there is some evidence of progress. I think I can say with confidence that our nation and our party look to be in much better shape than they did thirty days ago.

With the game facing a severe level of attrition and several people leaving the eUSA because of the wipe and the taxes, the community in general shrank by a fair bit this month. This obviously hampered our ability to grow as a party as we seek to reclaim our throne at the number one slot, memberwise. However, while several other parties shrank by a fair bit - whether it is due to the large number of players leaving the States or the formation of the New Lunar Republic Party- the USWP’s member count in general remained largely consistent. A large part of the credit for this goes to our recruitment team which was led by Ludo this month, and I’d like to personally thank them for this.

The USWP also had a decent month in eRepublik media. Both myself and Fionia, our Party Spokesman, promoted competitions for our members and wrote often, letting our fellow Zombies and other people know of our party update and events. Several newer players, both in the USWP and elsewhere, capitalised on this and were able to highlight their work through this. We also had a considerable growth in our forum activity and posts, particularly during the Country President primary when a record number of people voted. Our primary was won by Oblige, who went on to win the PotUS election.

Although eUSA was unable to have a Congress ingame, the country continued to function with a meta-Congress on the eUS forums. The USWP delegation, with eight members including both old and new members, had several successes in Congress. One of our own, Rainy sunday, was re-elected as SoH and we took part in passing the first quad-party budget that our nation has had in awhile. USWP Congressmen and -women continue to work for improving our nation via legislation.

The USWP continued its path of excellence the past month. We were able to channel a lot of our raw energy into progress for the USA. Join us, the Zombified party associated with success, as we seek to ascend new heights as a group the coming month.
