Fall of eCanada

After eCanada’s last province of Ontario was taken by PEACE GC armies, the county of eCanada no longer exists and we have lost one of our closest allies, no longer able to participate in the war without moving from their home country. Some eCanadian workers are moving to eSpain and eUSA and we should welcome our allies who will continue to fight alongside us in the same battlefields. Others will remain in Canada, as the only way for eCanada to come back is for eCanadian citizens to remain in the game to participate in Resistance Wars (RWs) in the provinces originally belonging to Canada. Through a series of conquests and “territory swapping” between PEACE GC-aligned countries, this is the current occupation of former eCanadian provinces (and the countries who RWs would be fought against to get the provinces back):

After the fall of eCanada, except for 4 states (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and South Carolina), every state is now in immediate striking distance of a PEACE GC nation eUSA is at war with. If war were declared between eUSA and eUK, then this would include every state except South Carolina.

Battle Results

Despite a well-fought battle, Texas has unfortunately fallen to eIndonesia’s second attack. Arkansas was overtaken by ePortugal. Wisconsin was overtaken by eRussia. We were able to save Maryland from attack by ePortugal.

As of this point in time, with all of our Western states overtaken, 26 states plus the District of Columbia are now under PEACE GC occupation.

War Update

After conquering Texas, eIndonesia is now attacking Louisiana. After overtaking Arkansas, ePortugal has attacked Mississippi. Using Russian-occupied Wisconsin, eRussia has launched an attack on Michigan.

Today, eSwitzerland has used its Romandie region to attack eFrance’s Franche-comte. The Canary Islands, a territory belonging to our ally eSpain, is now under attack by eBrazil.

Due to the nature of the rapidly changing situation on the battlefronts, citizens are urged to read and and subscribe to the Department of Defense’s Battle Orders. Members of the military are to check forums and follow the orders from your chain of command.

eUS Training Division

Would you like to contribute to the war effort? Would you like to learn more about how to play eRepublik? If you are not currently part of the eUS Military and you want to learn and do more to defend North America, then consider joining the military by enlisting in the eUnited States Training Division (TD). Once you’ve graduated the TD, you should have enough knowledge to go in almost any direction you want in eRepublik. If you want to further your military career, you can move on to the Home Guard or other military divisions and will be able to request free weapons to repel the invaders and increase your rank in the military more quickly. We need your help and so do our allies! Make your mark on the eWorld today and enlist in the eUnited States Training Division today, the best eRepublik training program in the world!

The war has led to a large number of applications to the TD, so you may not get an immediate response because so many people are applying at once. Citizens are asked to remain patient for assignment to a platoon leader as soon as logistically possible.

Election Results

With 1831 votes and 40.62% of the overall vote, Emerick (LI😎 has won the election for President of eUSA. Trailing by 481 votes, Harrison Richardson (USWP) came in second with 29.95% of the overall vote. Joshua Hoss (UIP) got an impressive 867 votes for 19.23% of the overall vote followed by Ajay Bruno (ConVP) with 331 votes (7.34😵 and Chris Maliwacki (URP) with 129 (2.86😵.

Let’s congratulate Emerick on his victory and wish him success in leading this country.

**New Cabinet

In one of his first Executive Orders, Emerick has already assembled most of the new cabinet for his administration. Although the President is the most visible representative of our government, certain topics may more efficiently be answered by referring questions to the officials who handle the respective aspects of the government. These officials are:

Vice President: PigInZen
- Serves as support to the President, handles tasks handed down from the President,
stands in for the president when needed.

Chief of Staff (CoS): Gaius Julius
- CoS maintains order, makes sure the Daily Agenda is set, ensures that cabinet members are doing their jobs.
Deputy Chief of Staff: Daphne Lilac
- DCoS supports the CoS in his duties, steps in when CoS is absent

**Director of Human Resources: Tormod
- Responsible for recruitment, vetting and background checks of executive branch employees; maintains list of citizens seeking to volunteer/work for executive

Secretary of State (SoS): LexLuthor1
- Responsible for foreign affairs, embassies, contact with foreign officials
Deputy of SoS: Wade Seagrave
- Supports the SoS in his duties, serves as adjunct to SoS.

Secretary of Treasury: One Eye
- Responsible for all functions involving money: budgeting, transfers, finance projections, trade advising

Secretary of Defense: Josh Frost
- Responsible for interactions with the Joint Chiefs, works with the Chair of the Joint Chiefs for all defense functions.
Deputy Secretary of Defense: Chris Willson
- Serves as direct support for the SoD, interacts with JCS & CJCS, directly responsible for all communications with citizenry regarding Defense issues including orders
Joint Chiefs: Lucius Varenus, qn20, ssomo, (more to be appointed)
- Control each branch of the military (MI, Army, Airborne, Marines, TD), Chair oversees function of JCS

Director of Intelligence: Canni
- Coordinates intelligence actions between CIA, NSA and Citizen Task Force (CTF); works with State to incorporate intelligence gathering from Ambassadors and SoS/DSoS and Undersecretaries
Citizen Task Force Director: Woxan
- Handles all vetting and background checks (public - new citizens only; private - all
citizens and officials, similar to a police agency's Internal Affairs Department)

Secretary of the Interior: SirEkim
- Oversees domestic functions including Citizens’ Affairs, Education, Communications
(citizen comms countrywide); develops programs for citizen mobilization
Secretary of Citizens' Affairs: Jasper Ferguson
- Recruiting, mobilization, citizen development
Secretary of Education (SecEd): Bill Brasky
- University, citizen education, new citizen assistance

Press Room Secretary: mjdiv
- Responsible for official communications from the Office of the President and his subordinates

Secretary of Fun: Richard Brophy
- Responsible for bringing lulz to eUSA!

Major changes this month:
Epic expansion of the mentor program. We're going to send out mass pm's soon, after recruiting 50-100 mentors, everyone from lvl14 down. From there, we'll continuously pm newcomers. This will serve to organize our people and get them working in tandem with the government better. Because of this overhaul, Emerick has appointed Bill Brasky as SecEd.

Are you a citizen who is receiving orders about where to fight on your home screen? If not, you should have Firefox as a web browser and subscribe to the eUSA Order Broadcast System. These battle orders will be updated several times a day for citizens who are not in the military. Military personnel, however, are to continue to follow the orders issued on the forum and through your chain of command.

**Non-Aggression Pact Signed with eMexico

In another historic action for his first day in office, a new Non-Aggression Pact (NAP) has been signed by Emerick (eUSA President) and Eisenhorn (Presidente del eMexico) last night as eUSA and eMexico work on improving the relations between our 2 countries.
