Party changes
The UPC has undergone some party positions changes. Unkem is now VP of the United Parties of Canada and Internet Republik is the parties new UPC spokesman.

Congress elections

UPC had a good first showing for its first congress elections and even got more votes then the third ranking party. unfortunately due the current situation of eCanada this months congress elections were not followed through with actual congressmen/women. The UPC looks forward to November 25th as another opportunity to get its members into Congress and to start making eCanada a better place.

non-party matter
As a member of last months congress I proposed a law to change VAT on food and weapons from 20% to 10%. Some have criticized this move but I think the lowering of taxes was a good decision and since the changes were enacted the economy has not gone completely off a cliff like some expected. The tax changes also lessen the burden of every eCanadian at a time when we have no regions and have no congress to spend any money. We shall see in the coming month to see how good or bad this 10% VAT actually is.

What happened to Toad22, aka IronToad? Did he speak out of turn?

How is cutting government funding/MU funding during a time of occupation even close to a good idea? I don't need to wait for the coming months to see that the 1/3 of regular funding coming to the Night's Watch is a bad thing. The United Polish of Canada better be getting paid well to sabotage our troops.

Toad was removed for insulting Beorn.
I was removed for being "Biased and Narrow-Minded".

I think the blowup of this internal conflict is a bit exaggerated, some people argued about a stupid proposal that is doing nothing good, Ladidada, 5 or 6 VP's later over 2 days, I'm just waiting for the 15th of November.

Albeit, it was only for about half an hour, but, would the UPC members actually be please knowing that their PP is willing to go to such lulz that he makes me VP of the party?

I'm sure several congressmen from our side supported the cuts, Lord Beorn, but I voted it down. It was too soon to decide to cut taxes when we hadn't judged the impact of 20% VAT yet.
