ArtemIvanov, our vice prime minister, became president in the presidential elections on October 5. He is not member of any party now so he can be a real independent easily to be reached by anyone. The government did not assign a new vice prime minister because we think we can do now without one. That makes this our government:

Defense
First of all we from the Ministry of Defence want to apology that there weren't any orders everyday. The reason for this is that the Ministry of Defence have had some staff changes, recently Epix left our Ministry as the (we hope) last one in the row leaving only Phyrax as original General. As response to this we Promoted Smook McSmok (Former Head of Media in the Ministry of Defence) to General and Cult to Colonel Brigade EN.

Finances
On Monday, the Finance Report was published here.

Taxes
Lowering the Income Tax on food (from 14 to 11😵 was rejected by congress. Main reason was that the impact on the country's finances was unclear, and the change quite big to experiment with. Two comparable proposals have been made for lowering the income tax on Weapons and Gifts (from 14% to 12😵. Finance cannot predict the impact when approved at the moment, but feels that this change will work out fine. To avoid employees to hop to other companies due to lower income tax, I strongly urge the congress members to vote in favour for a same change on Food and Moving Ticket. On a longer term, the Raw and Construction sectors should follow.

Monetay Market
Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of State Companies and Goldmarket worked together as Monday, all offers of 0.016, 0.017 and 0.018 were bought up. By taking immediate action, the goldprice was stabilized successfully on 0.016. A NLG issue was proposed and accepted, and followed up by moving the NLGs to Ministerie van Economische Zak. This will enable us to continue the fight to keep the goldprice stable, and help our export companies.
The current rates on the monetary market are quite stable last days on 1 NLG = 0.016 G and around 1 G = 63,48 NLG.

Home Affairs
Home Affairs is currently working on a revisioned constitution to reflect the wished of the people. The new constitution was rejected at first and necessary adjustments have to be made to finally get a new constitution, which represents all citizens of this union.

Furthermore Home Affairs would like to point out the Citizens for Unity initiative once again. Within the Citizens of Unity forums you can discuss about how we can improve our union even more. Read more about it

Minister dionysus wishes to apologise for not being able to be very active in the media so far, but he has been busy in reallife. He will publish an article before the end of this week.

State Companies & Gold Market
The Money Market seems stable at 0.016 gold and 63.47 NLG. See for more news at Finances.

Director-general
Mitch Rapp is assigned as general-director at the State Companies. He will coordinate the state companies. This way even when there is no government we are sure that the state companies are managed good. Some managers stopped, two new managers are found (Shane911 and Sarah Voorhees). There are more jobs available. Contact Mitch Rapp or Cocoamok when you want to manage a state company.

UNL hospitals sold a Q5 hospital to Lithuania for 280 gold. We are always searching for others to buy a Q5 hospital or a Q5 defense system.

Employees needed?
