[United States Politics] RLC: Defying the Odds Yet Again

Day 1,701, 21:29 Published in Australia USA by Jefferson Lincoln

The RLC is one of a kind.

While I had originally planned on writing an article based around all of the PP elections this month they were all fairly uneventful. Instead I’d like to focus on the political intrigue surrounding the Republican Liberty Caucus. The RLC has been one of the most controversial parties in recent memory. Especially due to the merger of the chickensguys controlled US Marijuana Party and Ronald Gipper Reagan Republican Party.

Many had predicted a fierce showdown between former party president chickensguys and long time Federalist Gnilraps. GN ran a large media campaign detailing why he wanted to be president and how he would run the party. Oddly enough CG never published a single article but instead managed to mass pm virtually the entire party. Most of the media commentators on eNPR were fairly confident that GN would beat CG. However while I did feel that the race would be competitive I predicted a win for CG.

Your fabulous political reporter.

Although I did falsely assume that a PTO candidate would run in another party to distract from outside votes being poured into the party, chickensguys did beat Gnilraps for the RLC Presidency. What was most stunning about the election however was CG’s margin of victory over GN. He beat GN 281-74 in the final vote count with almost 70% of the electorate going his way.

What an interesting trend.

If you examine previous RLC/USMJ/RP elections, the result of this campaign should have been more obvious. First Chickensguys has controlled the party presidency since March of this year with the exception of June where he backed Dutch Marley for the position. While his election in March was close with only a winning margin of 3 percent, CG has dominated every month since with a combined CG-Dutch winning average of 65%. This record of consistency is almost unheard of for a top 5 party in the United States.

The RLC power players.

Likewise the other major player in the merger was Ronald Gipper Reagan under his former name General Cartman Lee. While Reagan was banned yet again under the Lee account, he is still quite politically powerful as being the man who bumped the party up from its number five spot to a more comfortable third place position. Even after being banned he now has 353 subscribers to his newspaper and over 2,800 friends. Combined with chickensguys 2,400 friends and 8,000 subs this creates quite a politically powerful force.

It had potential but didn’t end well.

Another factor that should be put into play is the way in which Gnilraps ran for the position. Now I’m friends GN and I don’t question his intentions in running for the party presidency. However joining the party five days before the election and bashing some of the major party leaders is really not a great PR move nor a good political tactic.

I think he was counting on more outside votes coming into the election but unfortunately for him this did not occur. While I understand that he was a Federalist Party leader and the commander of EZ Company, if he was serious about running the party he should have gone about it a different way. Either by switching the ticket and having Joseph Dinero run for president or else wait a month and get more acclimated to the party.

This may last a while.

I’ve laid out the reasons why chickensguys completely dominated Gnilraps this election. Let’s put this all into perspective and finally look at how this plays out the future of the RLC. As we can clearly see, as long as CG and Reagan stay together in the coalition they will have a major influence on the party for months. This is the most successful party merger that I we’ve ever experienced in the United States.

Really the only way I can see the party leadership collapsing is if the government would happen to organize a successful PTO attempt or else factions break apart within the party. Honestly for the last two months opposition to Dutch and CG has been relatively weak and disorganized and I don’t see that changing in the near future. Also both CG and Reagan seem to have a good relationship so I also doubt that will break apart anytime soon.

A rebel at heart.

If anything this election has demonstrated that chickensguys is a powerful player and that the RLC is an active party. In fact the RLC had more votes in this election than the USWP which is the largest party in the US. Now with chickensguys in the president’s seat I feel that the RLC can at least more forward at this point. I expect to see the RLC make some gains in Congressionals this month and I feel that they were somewhat cheated out some spots due to alleged “PTO” attempts. While some of these may have been valid, after the fiasco we’ve experienced with foreign policy this month one must wonder how these were determined.

Your friend,
