[UKRP] Robalbinio for Party President - Mine is the Fury!

Good Evening everyone, it is here I announce my intention to run for the Party Presidency of the UKRP and outline my plans should I be elected.

I'm not sure what has happened recently but there seems to be an air of grumpyness and discontent in the party, I'm not sure what brought this on but I want it to end, we have always been first and foremost the party of community and in my opinion one of the best community's in erep, so lets keep it that way. Now this isn't to say you shouldn't criticize inaction and bad ideas we need checks, but people who take it to far who will be taken to one side for a quiet word.

But at the end of the day I love new players, we were all new once. I want them to come to our IRC and Forums and share their new ideas, and if they are very good become an outstanding member of the eUK like Horice we can be proud of.



Recruitment

Now I could sit here and say 'I promise at the end of my term we will have 120, 150 or 200 members' but I'm not going to promise any new members. I can't force people to join our party, I can't predict how many new players will join the game. What I can promise is that I will be out there everyday talking to new members and publishing articles about the party to show why I believe we are one of the best political choices in a very strong eUK political scene.

Communication

Communication is the cornerstone to any success. I will be writing an article once a week to tell members what there vote has been doing, much like I did during my congress tenure. This will also cover party news.

I will use the party message thread to its full effect, especially during election times which is when most of the action in a PP term happens.

Elections

I want to bring some actual structure and planning back to our elections, everything recently has been so last minute its fascicle.

Congress elections candidates will be finalized on the 22nd so we can actually tell the public who we are running and why they are a good candidate. Country President elections are even more important so if we are supporting another parties candidate, the voters know this. I'd run a primary on the 1st for 48 hours, this then gives us two full days of campaigning before the vote.

Policy

I'm not going to lie I couldn't care less about party policy's, if its not tax or MPPs Congress has little say and most CP manifestos are personal ones also during my time in congress I don't think I ever looked at a party manifesto when casting a vote, it would be hypocritical of me to ask others to.
