Hello there!

In my first report as Party President I will be briefly reminiscing over the past week before moving onto Congress information. This month we are working extra hard to tackle our bad results in last month’s elections, as well as taking part in discussing policies, media and recruitment, and our international alliance.


The week's happenings

Party Leadership

I would first like to announce the leadership of the UKRP for upcoming month.

Communications Administrator: Sir Humphrey Appleby
UKRP International Diplomat: Steve Steinbeck

All 3 of these members have my full support in their positions, and have each been working on their projects the past week.


International Alliance

For the past month Steve Steinbeck has been working on an alliance with other right-wing parties throughout the world, which has finally started to come to blossom. We have a total of 6 other parties that we are working with so far, in 6 different countries. We hope that in the coming weeks we can iron out the final details of what the alliance will entail.


Media and Recruitment

We have stuck to our mantra of 2 articles a week, each of them being voted to the best of our ability, as well as linked to adverts. This is an area we need to work on more, something we will be doing as soon as Congress elections are over. Recruitment has increased by 20 since I have taken over, which is not bad for a weeks worth. We will be running adverts a lot more, as well as using a Rolling Recruitment Team to ensure we can target new members often.


Policies

The last week discussion about policies has been much more active, although not moving at the pace I would like. Once Congress is over I will be chasing this up to ensure we have some form of UKRP policies in place for the end of my term, hopefully before that. We are currently working on Economic policies as our main one, with discussions about others in the background.


Congress Elections
The past week has been extremely active talking about Congressional elections that are arising for Sunday. We have already started our Mobile Voting campaign, ensuring that this month we have over double the amount we had last month, with more hopefully to come. Directing the votes will be easier this month, with a good workforce ready to help throughout the day.

Our Official Candidate List will be announced in this paper on the 24th of April, along with a bit of information about each of the candidates. All mobile voters will be sent to vote for the Official Candidates only, meaning those running without permission will get no support in the election.

I am expecting 10 seats this month, although more than that would be very nice. I am sure with a lot of hard work from our brilliant members, we will be able to achieve this result with relative ease, as well as a comfortable bonus of a few extra seats, but we will wait and see.

All of our members will be releasing adverts and manifestos, so remember to read them before voting, so that you vote for the right person you think should lead your region!
