[UKRP] Elections, Treaties and Parties

Day 821, 14:50 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by UKRP Headquarters

Party President Election

Earlier this week the UKRP said farewell to the beloved Raziel and ushered in a new party president, the ex VP Steve Steinbeck.

Steve Steinbeck, a young, up and coming politician, has already set forth to give our Party the boost it needs. Through implementing a new structure and setting some wise sophisticated goals, he has set our party on the path to victory.

Now is the time to join the UKRP.
All UKRP members are urged to join the forums.

Our party is the place to be - we are a friendly community, one that nurtures and develops new politicians, whilst always having fun. We have helped so many rise through the ranks (including Steve) and have sent many citizens into government and congress.

The eUK's current situation... and the UKRP

It's no secret that the United Kingdom is currently wading through some rough waters. The future, however, looks promising. After successfully defending London, we have struck a peace treaty, albeit controversial, that will return us all of our original regions.

Times have been worrying of late...a situation which was also present within the United Kingdom Reform Party. After a less than perfect showing in the January Congressional elections, the party was forced to re-examine the way it was working. But, much like the United Kingdom itself, the UKRP has recovered and is on a bullet train to success.

This shows, once again, that the UKRP is the party of the United Kingdom and for the United Kingdom. As a party we choose to work, not for our own advancement alone...but for the united advancement of the UK. It is on this basis that we will face the challenges that lie ahead.

This month

So then, what is the United Kingdom Reform Party up to this month? Currently we are preparing for what will be a testing Congress election, due to the sparse distribution of citizens outside of London. With credit to Darkmantle, we now have a UKRP website to help us organise our party members.

Activity
Although with a strong active presence on the UK Forums, activity isn’t as high as it could be. And so in the next few days, a huge attempt will be made encouraging all UK Reform members to join the UK Forums, request access to the party forum, and most importantly of all, get involved. High activity and retention is pivotal for all parties during Congress time.

Constitution
Work has now begun on a Party Constitution. We're hoping it will be all done and dusted by the end of the current party presidential term, a copy will be released in the UK Reformer (Party Newspaper), so subscribe or stay subscribed for more information and sneak peaks in the coming days.

Presidential Elections
With the departure of GLaDOS, the party is now holding fresh discussions over who we should back for our CP candidate. Talks with RFA and FDP are expected so we can reach a compromise on the best candidate to field.
