I am not there on the meeting. But i think the party should give new and active players opportunities to become a new generation of politicans.
\o/
i will try and go to the meeting but it may be tight i may arrive late
I may or may not be able to make it...
I would like to put forth the proposal though that members of the UKPP who have previously expressed a wish to get elected, but failed in the past, to be given voting slots 5 and/or 6 in order to force through some new blood into congress.
Priority should be given to those who have stood before but failed to get enough votes over those who put their name forward due to the above suggestion...
\o/
I can help you with the messaging... any time.
I think a private channel for ukpp members only should be used for this not the very public #UKPP one. It has many non ukppers in it
Richard, non-ukpp'ers are usually kicked on conference night. They are allowed back once it has ended.
Right slap bang in the middle of RN strike session.Good timing Dannyboy
1 more day until the conference... still no sign of a mass-message... what's going on?
Mick - at least you know people are going to be on at the time. Plus you won't be watching the battles every second anyway.... You can flip between the two channels while waiting for your health to recover....
Sir Nick - Would posting a link to this article announcing the conference on the UKPP feed not count as a mass message?? You are here because of that UKPP feed message?
a christian-wing of UKPP is much needed... and awaited.
To Hit the enemy takes what? 5 mins?! to post damage takes what?! 1 min?! (and that's being generous...)
My Girlfriend is right... Men can't multi task :/
@Mick someone can stay in #UKPP.navy to supply and the rest of us can tell the supplier what we spoke about in the conference
That's not the point Danny. One or two of us have to stay and supply/take damage. Why not have the meeting after strike session. That's what we used to do.and possi what if that person or persons left behind have some valid issues to raise,or a contribution to the discussion even
Mr Knee, I got here through the News Feed on the main page.
not everyone looks at feeds, messaging personally gets more attention
Your not exactly inundated with guys on strike day, whats the problem with having it during your strike, there's more of a chance guys will be on? Plus it seems to be Matt that does both the supplying and the damage taking and he's capable of keeping his eye on two channels. You can be in multiple rooms quite easily so a mountain out of a molehill is being made here!,
I'm getting sick to death of all the hostility now...
What's so hard in keeping your eye on the UKPP channel (Which you are normally in anyways) and staying in a MU channel to do a strike?!?!?!
Besides, if management isn't your key skill, i will be posting a article to all so if they missed or didn't join because they couldn't make it, they are kept up to date...
Nobody here should be moaning about the time... if you can't come till later, don't come... it's not like you will be missing
I will keep all up to date, and take screen shots of the Conversations if I get time.
i will give an update of information to the late comers, and keep everybody up to speed... y'know because that is what the organiser does?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I completely agree with WayneKerr, an unnecessary mole hill is being made... but this isn't the 1st time...
If people wish to propose a new time, because they can't multi task, and are too lazy to alternate between to channels, then fine...
I am flexible, and i am pretty sure the rest of the UKPP (who aren't in the RN) are willing to bend and turn for you.
All will receive the information they require at the end of the day.
So if i raise a genuine concern then i'm being hostile?Hmmm ok i'll watch my Ps and Qs in future
'not everyone looks at feeds, messaging personally gets more attention'
For the past four months we have pretty much JUST used feeds, activity was through the roof. 40+ people used to turn up to strikes and congress strikes, and the way we advertised them was through the media and through the RN feed only.
The reason i said Hostility is because (although I appreciate the concern being raised) their is ways to go about things...
To say sarcastically, "Good timing Dannyboy" is not the way to go about things....
ok point taken
but i suppose saying i cant multi task
management maybe is'nt my key skill, thats the correct way is it?
or was that hostility? fine line i suppose
I'm sorry for going all nerd rage on you O.o
