[UKGov]UK Today #8 - Census, The Aftermath

Hello and welcome to yet another edition of the UK Today, the less popular supplement to the seemingly popular “Guide to…” articles! Today is another short article, but you can read to find out why!



Hopefully most of you would have seen the Census article I did (if you missed it, you can read it by clicking here). I think that the information gleamed from it shows that while we are gaining a fair amount of new players, we’re not holding onto them. I read a quote from someone that said we’re actually losing more players than we gain. To state the obvious, this is not at all good. A declining population means we make less money through tax, we lose damage and so are less able to compete in the global damage rankings. As the Minister of Education, I’ve decided to jump on these findings and for the rest of the term I will spend more time dedicated to retention of new players. This means I’ll be doing my utmost to work more in-depth with BlueandEvil and the NHS while also coming up with new and more efficient ways to keep people playing. There’s some fairly big news being announced tomorrow that I’m quite excited about as it means I can expand retention into a new area and dust off some old ideologies about how I can do so!
