Join the new world

Hello and welcome to issue 11 of the Ministry of Education's UK Today, the less popular supplement of the Guide To...'s! With the impending Training War delayed, I explain why and give you an update of what I want to do!



If you caught my last article, you’d have seen that we are on the brink of war! And by that I mean we’re about to go toe to toe with eBelgium in a training war so that we may get our True Patriot medals and all the gold we can manage! Unfortunately it’s hit a little hitch, while we were very close to actually pushing the necessary buttons to go to war, someone in Belgian congress has pressed the buttons to necessary to declare Poland as a Natural Enemy, which you can see is currently being voted on here. Fortunately it seems like it’s a rogue proposal and will be voted down, but what it does mean is that we’ll have to wait until at least 4pm on Thursday before we’ll go to war due to in game mechanics beyond our control. So, if you have a blood lust that needs quenching then you’ll just have to wait one more day!

Another thing I’d like to talk about quickly is an idea I and other cabinet members came up with. Soon I shall be PMing a number of people from every party asking them questions about various things. Mostly these will be opinions on different things which I shall publish with fancy graphs in the paper, just like the census, but also will be asking questions about what things you’d like to see added, improved or altered. Hopefully this will give you more of a chance to get your voices heard about what you’d like to see, giving you more power to change what we’re doing but also I hope it’ll help improve our services and give us ideas and viewpoints that we’ve not thought of or seen before. Those of you interested in a career in any ministries may be interested as those who have good ideas will certainly be able to make progress. I know if I got some good ideas from people for how to improve the Ministry of Education, I’d most definitely like to take them on board to help improve things!
