[UKGov] Interview with Kravenn (Creator of the New Player Guide)

Day 1,677, 12:32 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

This afternoon I (Max Blue) interviewed the creator of probably the greatest new player guide erepublik has ever seen, Kravenn. If you haven't seen the new player guide check it out here. My questions are written in bold.

This new player guide won a competition for the best 'first month guide' to erepublik.

1) Do you update the new player guide?

I update it when it is needed, but I don't say when I have done so. For example last week I updated the 'war page' and yesterday 'some geopolitics'.

2) Have you thought about getting together a team to keep it updated?

To be honest no, I did all the work myself (except for some screenshots) and I've always thought of it as 'my job'. If tomorrow the admins decide to change multiple things maybe I will change my mind.

3) What are your plans for the long term future of the guide?

I am happy with the format of the blog, and I do not have any plans 'per say'. The only real change is that it is getting more use globally which is not really down to me.

I created it for the UK specifically, but I have been contacted by several countries (Spain, Slovenia, Venezuela and Colombia). I am happy for others to benefit from it and I know Chile refer to it too.

4) What is next for you?

I have occupied many posts in the eUK and I like it here so expect me to stay around. I have launched a program for our young citizens (Kravenn’s cakes: http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=733&t=80611&start=40) which I intend to continue, I have my Military Unit to attend to, and for months I have been involved in the ONE HQ (where I have lots of fun). More generally I will continue try to help our young citizens, so more of the same really...

Keep an eye out for UK government articles. You can spot government articles by the [UKGov] tag. Be sure to vote for any articles you see with that, and subscribe to the newspaper, as these will keep you informed and on top of the game.
