[UK Reform] Party elections results and Factfiles

Day 1,915, 09:30 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Thomas765

Hello there!

So, we now enter the period of backlash after the party elections. Some very high profile candidates were elected to the top spot in their respective party, which can only indicate that the political scene is shortly about to heat up.

Party Presidential Elections

I have summarised the results of the eUK Political Party elections below, showing how many people voted in total, the winner of the election and the percentage of party membership that voted in the election. The percentages were calculated using current membership levels.

The UKRP's Party Race

Now, despite being the sixth largest party in terms of membership, we had higher levels of activity in our PP election than the fifth largest and fourth largest parties, having had both a larger number of votes and % voting than them.

There could be a number of reasons for this, the first being that we were having what was thought to be a three way leadership contest between myself, Cygnus and Robalbinio. People in the party were aware that this election would likely be a fun election to partake in and as such were more inclined to vote in it. During most of the day, both Cygnus and I were equal on votes or had one or two votes between us.

Secondly, the party presidential elections were advertised quite heavily in the media and on the forums, with at least 10 articles being released over the course of five days - manifestos, party articles and opinions alike.

Overall, the party's increasing activity is reflected in this chart above, which shows our presence in party presidential elections. This month, 10 additional votes were cast compared to last month.

The UKRP Factfile Project

It is our aim as a party to help new citizens as best as we can. We don't just say it, we mean it. So to put our words into action, we are developing a Factfile project that will be featured in our articles to help out new citizens as they enter the game.

Here is the introductory piece to it:

Did you know that the NHS provides food for citizens below level 30?
You can get 500 health a day by the government if you are below level 30. You can apply here.
