[UK Reform] Loads of Activity!

Day 1,908, 20:20 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Thomas765

Hey there!

First of all and again, I would like to thank everyone that voted for butjam in the election several days ago. It is an amazing achievement for us to have come so close to victory, despite not actually being in the top 5, although a lot of support came from other parties. In addition, we would like to thank The Unity Party, Guardians of United Kingdom and the People's Communist Party for supporting butjam. We would like to congratulate Richard Feist on his narrow but hard fought victory on Tuesday and I'd like to wish him the very best of luck in the month ahead.

Statistics

You can be certain that the UKRP is definitely an active party, if not one of the most active parties in the UK. The forums are buzzing with activity, IRC is a hive of discussion and the in-game feeds are constantly swarming with interaction between members.

Okay, I'll stop with the references to bees

We have been recording our activity since the 29th of December and have been vying to beat the records:

Peak activity on #UKRP: 27
Peak activity on #UKRP.private: 17

The only time the UKRP private channel remains asleep is during the British night time but as I speak, there is a discussion about throwing trees.

Post count on the 29th of December: 39818
Post count on the 8th of February: 41057

Over 41 days, the UKRP has been so active as to do a total of 1239 posts within our own discussion area on the UK forums, meaning an average of 30 posts per day assuming activity remained constant.

Peak primary poll activity: 24 (January 2013, 21 votes for butjam and 3 votes for "no support")

This is an astounding response from the party after activity nearly doubled. This exceeds our activity nearly when we were the largest party in the UK...

An image looking at our activity from October to last week, with PP elections used as a comparison. Rapid growth can be seen as pp election voting turnout nearly doubles over a three month period.

Discussions

A trending topic within the UKRP is the subject of Alcohol with many discussions on IRC revolving around Scotch. A topic about alcohol was created to satisfy the beer craving desires of Pat Harper, which ended up with over 50 posts in a few days after its creation. The discussion forum itself, which was created at the beginning of the year, has managed to reach 450 posts in total. Other trending topics include personals, politics and Game of Thrones. Horse burgers are a well mentioned joke.

Final words

So yeah, why not join us in our activity? We pride ourselves on being not only a party but a community. We enjoy the game but we also have fun while we're at it. Many community projects are running within the party and it would be worthwhile coming to join in on our own unique community.
