[UK] Our country is safe but our hearts are broken

33 days ago, following their enormous baby boom, Poland threw themselves against our 9 MPP's at the South East of England. They were met with a wall of over 2.4 million, delivered by our proud Phoenix allies. During the time between the first attack by Poland and the attacks we launched on the USA and Norway yesterday following our regain of initiative, our stout allies across the New World have defended us endlessly and following strategic retreats by Prime Minister Dishmcds, we ended up holed up in London, as everyone had predicted.
EDEN paid the 1.3k Gold price tag for attacking our fortress region and were well and truly spanked by Phoenix. It was an amazing fight and both sides could be proud of their efforts. Following the victory, we managed to regain initiative and secure several of our regions through resistance wars whilst directly attacking Norway and the USA.
It looked promising and with the ever straining bank balance of EDEN becoming further stretched, it was almost a certainty that we would be able to regain our regions and push EDEN out of the UK and eventually use our array of MPP's to liberate Germany and France from the Spanish and Polish oppression. EDEN's resolve was continuing to falter and we'd finally gained the upper hand.
And then the government that we'd entrusted the security of our nation to, the same government who had worked in coordination with Phoenix to secure our MPP's and who the UK have to thank for our security, decided to agree to a peace treaty with EDEN that would see them retreat from our island and close the wars that we share.
Well.. isn't that what we wanted? It's a victory right? We didn't get wiped out and our country would be restored.
However, the important part of this peace treaty, is that the hugely powerful array of MPP's that we held against the USA, Poland, Norway and Sweden would grant us the ability to launch multiple revenge invasions, especially against Poland, which would give us the opportunity to liberate huge portions of France and practically all of Germany. There was obviously the chance for Spain to block us, but we had the bargaining chip of threatening to invade any number of her EDEN allies. We could essentially have become a liberating juggernaut and we would be able to maintain the MPP's as a huge deterrent to any future invasion.
In my personal opinion, and what seems to be the opinion of many others (not just in the UK), our government has forsaken our allies in Germany and France as well as adding a sour taste to the reputation we had managed to build. After the opening events of World War 3, we had turned an entire alliance against us while entering an alliance who didn't know what to think of us quite yet. Since then, we have managed to develop strong friendships and convince our allies that they could rely on us. This peace treaty, however, practically destroys that confidence that allies will have in us.
I appreciate all that Dishmcds and his administration have done for the UK during his term as Prime Minister but this is a substantial black mark against his leadership. The resignation of Polio, our Minister of Defence, is a massive blow for the country. As a paratrooper, I had regular contact with him and he was a stalwart and vital character in our nation. His loss will weigh heavy on the UK military and it will be difficult to find a worthy replacement.
I'd like to share a nod of appreciation with EDEN. You have been worthy opponents and this invasion has been the most fun that the UK has had in months. Our party politics were driving huge wedges into our community and the invasion helped to unify our nation. For that, I thank you.
My last thanks is to our allies. I thank you for all of your support over the past month or so, during this invasion. Your continued defence of our country has never been taken for granted and there is little we could do to repay the massive amounts of damage you have delivered in protection of our little nation. For Phoenix.
I just wanna finish off by making it clear that I really do appreciate the work that has been done by Dishmcds and his team. But this is, in all honesty, an unacceptable result and if it is the true end to this war, then I'm not sure I will stick around in the UK to see it through.

The Uk leaders are a joke. I for one will be leaving this nation and going abroad.
The UK launching revenge invasions? Revenge for what? That the US took revenge on the UK for their backdoor deal with PEACE that allowed them to invade North America?

yea but if they DO attack you again, im not sure many of the people will WANT to fight. why would they? how would they know you wouldnt run off to Eden leaders like little bit***s as you have done now.
I know I wont. if you had done this at the beginning, no one would have said a thing. but you did it AFTER we had thrown sh**loads of damage in England, gold and TIME, yes RL time waiting to defend 'your little nation'.
As I said before, Im glad most brits dont agree with this, but it still doesnt fix the mistake your government did.
