[UK MoD Extra] UK/France on the map, gifts and closing the gap?

Day 2,220, 05:09 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Max Blue

Hello all, its your Minister of Defence here. Together with others we will be keeping the MoD newspaper up to date and I urge you to check it out for the latest news and battle priorities. I hope you find the fourth MoD Extra of this term helpful/useful...

The UK/France on the map

The UK, Poland and Spain are involved in an attack on France. France are taking a beating and look like they might disappear from the map.

The UK has been very successful so far in its campaign and the UK currently holds Northern France. Poland are the pink colour in the centre of France and Germany, and Spain are the brown in Southern France.

You might have seen there is a new colour in Western Ireland. This is the USA. Ireland and the US have entered into an agreement where the US rents two regions from Ireland in exchange for 90,000 CC.

Gifts

The eRepublik admins have made a series of changes to enable people to send gifts to each other. These 'gifts' can either be the admins new introduction of a gift 'box', or a assult packs, gold packs etc.

Gold packs are still a very expensive way compared to others to add to an account. Buying an assult pack or war stash is definatly the cheapest option, plus you get bombs and other goodies to help yourself and your nation. Whilst you can only buy one assult pack for yourself during the promotion and one war stash every 30 days you can now buy these for other people. These cost around £9 each and they are far better value for money than the bigger Gold boxes. Consider buying something for a good friend to help take your nation forward?

Closing the gap?

Is the UK closing the gap on France in the damage stakes?

The figures say yes.

Some of this could be down to France being largely occupied and only the most mobile of the French will be in French territory (as opposed to occupied territories). Some of it could be down to the French easing off due to knowing they are beaten. However we shouldn't dismiss the fact the UK has really rallied around this campaign against France and steped up a gear militarily.
