[UK Forums] Creation of the eUK LGBT Private Forum

Day 1,962, 06:38 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Thomas765

Hello all!
Recently an idea was brought forward by Zaphod Beeblebrox, an idea to open up a new private forum on the eUK official forums for people who identified as being LGBT and for people that support the LGBT community and the "fight" for equality. Admittedly, I did give Zaphod a little shove to get it started and encouraged others to support it but after less than a day, the forum was able to bring up ten sponsors/supporters for its creation.

Well it's always nice to keep people updated, of course but it is equally as nice to encourage people to join in on the group. Basically, I had envisaged a friendly place for the LGBT community on eRepublik, particularly in the eUK, to get together, talk, debate and such about issues, not only related to LGBT issues but issues on the whole. Essentially, what we're doing is forming our own, little subcommunity on the eUK forums.

Well, anyone. However, if you're going to be a prick, you won't be allowed access. The intention is to have a forum where people are friendly to each other, so if you can't manage that then you won't be given access. In general, people who support the LGBT community and people of the LGBT community are encouraged to join.

The forum already has over 10 active users and over 100 posts have been made. Anyone is free to join so long as they're friendly about it!

You need to be a member of the UK national forums first of all. Once there and logged in, you can request access to the forum by finding "Organisations - LGBT" here and joining the group. Zaphod or I can add members, so if you do wish to join then there is a high chance you will be added speedily 😛 You can always send me over a PM if you can't work it out, though.

Thanks for reading,

Edit: Since a few people have had to ask what LGBT stands for... it means Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender
