Dear Friends,
At the heart of TUP has always been community. We believe that for society to grow and be an enjoyable place to be in, there has to be a steady steam of active new players. This is why aiding new players and encouraging them to participate has always been at the centre of TUP policy. The party as we know it was founded on the belief that new players and new ideas was a good thing, a rejection of the outdated dogma of the right that had rich and powerful cliques dominating our government and society as a whole. Therefore, today I am not going to write to you about silly roleplays, or pathetic aristocratic fantasies. I am writing to you today to explain the good work that TUP is doing to actually help new players, making a practical and worthwhile contribution to their lives.



Many months ago, the party founded the Unity Party Food Programme (TUfP) which was instrumental in providing food for new players, allowing them to save up their wages and also introducing them to the idea of a friendly external community that is willing to help others. The scheme was founded through the generosity of TUP Congressmen, who each month give a proportion of their congressional winnings to the party, some even give everything they have received! It is this money that allows us to finance and expand these projects and we are grateful for their support.

However, you do not simply have to be a member of TUP to receive food, the scheme is open to every new player that meets the following criteria:

-Level 5-20
-Working in a Quality 1 Company
-Have UK Citizenship
-Have an avatar

If you are unsure of your current level and citizenship these can be viewed on your profile page. o apply, simply let us know. Your food should be delivered the same day, and we will keep helping you until you are healthy again. With the changes to food we are limiting the scheme to 1 piece of food per day and you can only apply every three days. (You will be given three pieces of food each time you apply)



Wellness Baskets

As always, TUP is a firm believer in getting people on to the forums. We know that getting people active in the community is the only way for our country to survive attacks from the evil Canukistanis, and having lots of people around is great fun too 🙂 Welcome Baskets are starter packs containing food that are given out to new citizens joining the forums. Each starter pack contains:

-5 x Q3 food (30 wellness in total)

To be eligible for this fantastic offer, all you need to do is sign up to the forums and simply fill in the form here. All citizens of all levels are elegible to partake in this scheme, if you have joined the forums within the last month. The Welcome Basket scheme is also open to members of all parties (and people not affiliated as well of course!) and I hope many people sign up and take advantage of this fantastic programme.



Well then folks, there you have it. Two brilliant schemes relaunched right before your very eyes, encompassing everything that The Unity Party stands for. As laid out in our constitution the goal of the party is to empower individuals to achieve more than they would do alone, setting them off on a path of advancement and fulfilment within the game. I leave you with an extract from Clause II of the Constitution:

The Unity Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few; where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe and where we live together freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect.
