The 25th
Dearest members, today we face another election; another chance to break records; another chance to improve our great nation. This term, we will be focusing solely on ensuring that our nation is ready for the challenges, trials, tribulations and reforms that will come when Version 2 of this game is released in the near future. We will mainly be focusing on ways to ensure new, young, inexperienced or returning players to the game have a valid point of contact, be that through The Gifting Hub, messages from the Ministry of Home Affairs, or even another Free Guns scheme.
Every month members of the unity party participate in a conference in order to produce a set of policies that all of our candidates run under. This is what makes us as a party unique and what has made our party the success it is today. After weeks of deliberation, we've drawn the ideas produced by our members and have produced a set of concise policies to help the eUK progress into V2 and become even greater then it already is.
All in all, this month remains a vital one in our quest to prepare the UK for the inevitable chaos that will ensue with the implementation of Version 2. Please ensure that you check your messages, know our candidates, and of course, ensure that you always Vote smart. I introduce to you, our candidates for this term:
East Midlands

Asher Di Immortales - a veteran of The Unity Party and the Ministry of Home Affairs, you may have been in contact with Asher when you played the eUK lottery, when you joined the UK forums and posted in the new members forum; even when you thought you'd be a naughty little scamp and post some spam in Bob Boblo's House. All in all, Asher Di Immortales is a fantastic candidate, who has not only spent months of his time dedicated to ensuring the eUK is a fun place to be, but has also had 4 terms as congress men; and is our encumbent East Midlands candidate.

FinalDestiny - some of you may be old enough to remember FD's infamous term as Prime Minister - he was a wee bit naughty and left us all wanting maor FD! He prides himself on being a devout Irishman, and loves a good meat and potatoe pie. FD is a forum admin, someone who spends literally a couple of minutes a day deleting Maddog Jones's posts: a vital role for the UK. FD represented this great region last term, and I think another term under FD may even help to provide maor activity for the East of England.

DanMoir - Dan, this month, has been moved from across the way, in East Midlands - but don't let that put you off! Dan is a dedicated individual, who spends his free time messaging everyone he can find telling them to GET ON THE UK FORUMS. Skalg von Tuari - An up and coming star, it is rumoured that Skalg von Tuari is the messiah. All I know is, he is one of our London candidates, who is a dedicated to helping everyone be a better citizen. Coram has a wealth of ministry knowledge, in both Home and Foreign affairs; he is also the serving Vice Party President of the Unity Party this month; a great candidate I'm sure you will all agree!

Jake Pearlshire - the current incumbent MP for the North East; Jake is a dedicated MP, who is deeply entrenched in the regional affairs of the North East; being an integral part of both its council, and its active player base. Michael Chertiozhnik - Michael is another of our new recruits running for congress this term. This month, he has focused on serving in our Royal Navy, whilst helping The Unity Party prepare itself for congress. me - jamesw. Thats right; I'm back in my home region this month! Last time, I ran in that crazy place called London, and managed to get into congress. Whilst there, I made sure everyone knows that everyone was aware of the importance of Gravy to us in the north; it is simply a delicious thing. I decided i'd try and be funny and write a joke manifesto this month; the problem is I'm not a very funny person. If you really wish to read such a horrible article, feel free to. Tom Fletcher - a member of Navy Command, as well as a contributing member of our Ministry of Work, and Ministry of Home Affairs, Tom Fletcher is as experienced as they come; he has also served as MP for Northern Ireland for two previous terms. Nokturnal; yet another brand new congress man for you this term! Nokturnal is another of our up and coming members for the future; someone you should definitely keep an eye on; this guy is going to go far - which is quite an odd statement; considering his account is one of the oldest in the game - thats right: he has been in hibernation for nearly 18 months; but hes back, and in black too! Smithie - a stalwart of Scotland; Smithie is deeply involved within both Regional and National affairs; and is a highly contributive member of the Scottish Clan Council. Stefan1992 - this term Stefan is running for his twelfth term representing the South East. Thats right; ex Party President of the Radical Freethinkers Alliance is here, and is The Unity Party's second, and equally brilliant candidate in the South East; you guys are spoiled for choice! He loves saying shock horror, so I'd advise you read this whilst flinching, as I did. All jokes aside: Indiekid is a very active and highly dedicated eUK member; an ex Gifting Director, Minister for Health and Commanding Officer of the Special Forces; he's been highly dedicated to many roles!

Rory Webster - the only surviving incumbent of wales; what have you been doing to these poor guys?!?!?! Rory is an active and dedicated part of our Navy, and prides himself on teasing me: by not putting up a manifesto! That aside; Rory is a delightful congressman; and will be putting Wales at the top of the agenda in all that he does.

Wayne Jarvis - yet another BRAND NEW UNITY PARTY MEMBER - heil the applause! Wayne is currently an active part of our briliant Special Force Support Group; fighting for our interests all over the globe. If elected, he promised me he'd be a good congressman; and that's good enough for me; this guy is a great friend, and I trust he will serve Wales well.

Malta_1990 - ex Prime Minister, and a very nice guy. He is fluent in Italian, his homeland, and hopes to one day buy a packet of maltesers. He wrote a very long, convincing and valuable manifesto, which can be found here
