[TUP] Furdelance for PP. A fresh-new face.

After a small period of inactivity, I've decided to come back and I thought I would try my hand at running one of the most successful and powerful parties around, TUP. If elected, I will do my best at maintaining the level of success in the past and hopefully improve on it.

So, what can I bring to the table. Well, I've been a member of the party for several years and have seen many PP come and go. I recognise that, to be a successful party, a powerful leader by itself can achieve nothing. Party memebers, both young and old, have to co-operate to increase membership, increase influence and increase visibility. Its because of this that if I get recruited as PP I will focus on three key points.

Forums/IRC

IRC and the forums have been extremely inactive as of late. I'm on IRC as I type and I see two people on the #TUP.public channel and the same people on the TUP private channel. This is in contrast to a year ago, when IRC would be a hive of activity, from players new and old. This is where I learned the ways of erep. But now, they are inactive, with the same faces appearing daily. I will encourage new players to use IRC and the forums as a communication tool within the party, helping them increase their knowledge about the game.

Congress/CP elections

Last month, TUP had massive successes in congress. It has came a narrow second with 11 congressmen in congress. I aim to increase the number of congressmen elected, with a hope of getting 15+ congressmen into congress. As you all know, MrWoldy was elected as CP this month with a clear majority over the next candidate. I promise that if elected, the next CP candidate, whoever he may be, will receive any and all support that the party can give him.

Membership and relations

The TUP is no longer the party with the most memebers. And as little difference people say that this may make, "quantity has a quality of its own". More members means more votes in elections, a bigger experience pool to choose from and looks better on paper of course. That is why I aim to increase membership massively is elected. Another key point would be relationships with other parties. Some have been frosty at best. I aim to improve communication between the parties, hopefully easing some of the negativity towards TUP.



And with these things in mind, vote Furdelance for a better TUP.
