O Hai
I got my first FP yesterday on my article on the racist eAus CP. Which got taken down. That will be republished. I promise. But let's talk about congress. With dem congress elections over. Everyone has their CS passes. Let's look at how New Era have been using these passes.... Shall we?
Right, 5 citizens from eIreland. Totally isn't suspicious at all. Now 4 out of the 5 have been accepted, and guess which party accepted them? That's right, TUP! Oh wait a sec, nope. Got it wrong, I mean New Era! Want the proof? Well there you go! I'm happy to give it to you!
These citizens have fought for eIreland, and now they want to come on in. These citizens fought against us, and we give them CS for that? What the hell!?
That's not right. But what's even more concerning is that when you see hollenboer's CS application. He's been sent by Dapper. I shall now refer to Dapper's own profile. Where it says this....
So a anti-TWO guy in Poland is sending people from eIreland into the eUK, and our congress accepts them in!
Well then FightAndProduce, stop complaining and tell us what we can actually do.
How about a immigration policy? Now I know it's impossible to stop a congress member to accept someone. But how about we track who's accepting who, and hold them to account for the people they've accepted in? This is something which should already be happening, it's called transparency. Maybe our citizens would exactly know what the congress they've elected are doing.
I guess that's it. Hopefully some info and some food for thought.

Dickhead Daiper trying to build up british army again
Having a convenient list detailing who has let who in is pretty damn transparent. Legislature pertaining to CS has been tried before; the problem is that it's unenforceable. Even if we had a committee in place who condemned this then the current congressmen can just shrug and do it regardless.
The only way to 'punish' a party or show that the general populace care is to vote elsewhere come the next congress election.
Exactly, you can't force them not to accept them. But if you highlight the ones who are accepting these people and will not give a reasonable explanation and hold them to account. We might be able to at least somewhat help things. Better than no acknowledgement of the problem at all.
I wouldn't call poaching fighters from ireland a bad thing.

How is it poaching fighters if they're still following DO's in an enemy alliance MU. Dapper's just come up with some silly plan and is sending people back to the UK to try it out.
I have always classed CS by the nation of the MU the person is in - that is where they are likely to be doing the damage, the main part of the game.
Sadly admins made it easy to switch whereas before it was a very good indicator, now, not quite so much.
Clearly the plan is to fight via Ireland while trying to piss the eUK off via voting - they don't like that the eUK is fairly happy at the moment.
I think there should be some sort of decline functionality, say 3 congressmen hit decline and that person is frozen out of CS requests for a predetermined period of time. Help to prevent certain factions from growing into the cancer that plagues the eUK
equally it'd need, say, 4 'accepts' to allow it to pass
shame they took away the 'feck off' button; i'd have cancelled BigAnt's & the influx of yanks that came in last term
id just like to point out that the only racist in eAus is the CP, unfortuately its looking like our inactive congress wont impeach.

There are only 2 issues I have with your article.

Do you have proof that they have fought for Ireland? Just because they have citizenship in a country does not mean they are fighting for it. On top of that, they are all previous members of the UK and therefore have most certainly fought more for our country than Ireland (for example, hollenboer and oO HYBRID Xx both have 4 BH medals for UK, and yet none for Ireland).

There seems to be three separate points here, and I will address all of them.
1. It doesn't take long to goto their profiles. All four of them have hit damage for eIreland. Also, just because they may hit more damage for the eUK. Doesn't make their actions correct. They betrayed us and came back.
2. My immigration plan isn't just about tracking who is accepting who. It's about pointing these people who let in unsuitable citizens and hold them to account for it as well. Also, it would track what party that congress member is in and how many CS passes they have used in the term so far. Along with any other details needed. Therefore it would provide more information than the current system. Also instead of having to go pages back to find a person on the list. You could just use Ctrl+F on the database and search for the citizen you were looking for.
3. Yes, they just push buttons. But they must have some sort of motive behind clicking buttons, and how do people know which buttons they are pressing? Again, this is holding congress members to account for what decisions they made and why. That is how it can be more transparent.
1. But who is to say that their actions are incorrect?
2. Who is to decide and say who is a unsuitable citizen and why should they get to decide? But otherwise it sounds like a good idea but a lot of work for something that the average citizen probably won't even use.
3. Most people vote for what their party policy is, therefore you can make a pretty good educated guess at what they voted for. I think also votes being anonymous is good, as some people don't want others to know what they voted for as they maybe treated differently or insulted (could not think of the correct word but insulted pretty much fits it as well) for the option they have taken, for example, someone might not of wanted to say who they voted for in the recent President Impeachment in case they accused of accepting bribes or any other nonsense. And it seems this what you would like to do, which in my opinion is just wrong.
1. I'm pretty sure that fighting for the enemy is regarded as incorrect.
2. If someone suspects someone on accepting a unsuitable citizen. Then they could actually ask the congress member. If they had a reasonable reason to accept the person. Then that's fine.
3. Who really reads party policy? As much respect I have for my parties policies. Not even I can remember them without looking at them for reference. People treat people differently and insult others for no reason most of the time so I'm sure congress voicing what they think won't make much of a difference in regard to them being insulted and treated differently. I really don't like your point regarding the presidential impeachment. Where you say that they might get accused of accepting bribes or any other nonsense, and then saying that this is something that I would like to do. Why would I make a accusation like that with no evidence? That would make me look foolish and ruin any credibility I had.
To be honest, it just seems like you are trying to find reasons to attack New Era. I would like to know where your article was when;
1) FragUK, a UKPP member let Leo Balzac in, who has done 193 mil damage for Canada and 9 mil for USA.
2) Kravenn, a TUP member let nebosha (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1873746) in, who has done 702 mil damage for USA.
3) Mo Kushla, a PCP member let Aquila Grant (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1550900) in, who has done 364 mil damage for USA.
Plus the other countless times people from other parties have let players from enemy countries into the UK.
Your examples are all separate events that happened for whatever reason.
Those that have left and are now filtering back left to an enemy alliance with the intention of hurting the eUK. They tried with resistance wars, hitting in major CoT battles the whole time they were over there.
They left to hurt the eUK, I have no idea about the three you have mentioned because I just don't care but these people are traitors and are now coming back in to try whatever it is. If they stay in Irish MUs then I believe we should freeze them out of as much as we possibly can.
I don't care how much damage they did for the eUK, the issue is the consciously decided to leave and attack/hurt us. That makes them traitors and people that you can not trust with access to any sort of power/information that matters.

Why are they enemies of the UK? And who is it up to to decide they are?
They chose to be to be 'enemies of the UK' by moving to an enemy country to fight against the UK - something they're still doing. Them having UK CS now doesn't change that.
They become enemies of the eUK when they leave en masse to go to an irish MU, with irish citizenship under the command of individuals who are expressing intent to damage the eUK with extreme prejudice.
Many of the individuals hit for other countries in wars with the eUK.
if that doesn't make you an enemy i don't know what does.
And jesus christ, i will bloody pass judgement on them with my God given right.
