I deserve the 100 gold because I was born an orphan on the cold, hard streets of London. I was sent to an orphanage, but it was horrible place, where only our most basic needs were met - a roof over our heads, a serving of gruel, and we even had to work for that. Eventually, after an altercation with the portly gent who ran the place over the lack of nutrition that was being provided, I was sent away from the orphanage and ended up back on the streets, where I took up with a gang of young pickpockets as I had no other way to procure the food I needed to survive. They were led by a creepy old guy who I suspect was a pedophile. After being forced to help burglarise a house by a street thug (who ended up accidentally hanging as he tried to escape the police across the roof tops of London, oh the irony!) I am now looking for a new benefactor, someone who might take me in and provide me with a hundred gold so I can buy my own food company - give a player some food, and he'll be able to fight for a day; give me some gold, and I'll buy a food company, feed myself every day for as long as I play the game, sell any excess I have (thus increasing the taxes received by the government), invest the money I earn into buying more food companies and weapon factories, earn an increasingly large amount of money, realise that being a capitalist pig may provide me with many creature comforts that are denied to those who cannot afford them but at the same time is making my soul shrivel like a piece of American bacon in a hot pan (seriously, they're all fat, once you cook them they shrink down to a quarter of the size they started at), and turn to communism, converting my vast empire of profitable businesses into a commune that can feed and arm the whole eUK for eternity (or at least as long as this pitiful excuse for a game survives).

Also, forgot to mention that I'm the second coming of Jesus, so there's that too. Unless you're a Satanist, in which case I'm the anti-Christ. If you're an atheist, I'm probably a reincarnation of Charles Darwin or something, I dunno.

Eh, makes things interesting, I'd rather do something slightly constructive rather than complain about political bs in this game in articles.

Some people have questioned me on whether I'm quitting, it is not the case 🙂. I seem to have got past the stage in the game where I only care about my own wealth. It just doesn't seem that important to me.

I respect that. Good knows how much I've drunkenly given away but I rarely have regretted it, so good luck with your philanthropic endeavor and I'm glad to hear you're staying o/

I don't deserve the gold, BUT I really really want it! You see I am a young epup and still getting to grips with the goings on about here and 100g would allow me to either start upgrading my business or more importantly my training buildings saving me months of scrimping so you would have my eternal gratitude! If you also factor in to your decision that I am a real life Scot stereotypically famous for being tighter than a ducks arse then I am definitely not one to miss out on a freebie.

I really do not want to win gold, because I will give it away to NHS and/or some random player that asks me for gold for upgrades. After giving away I will think how can I ever get 3 Q7 weapon factories to become a real commander and that will make me sad.
