Citizens of the Republic,
In this article I am going to lay out some plans for my CP term, should I win the election on May 5th.
1. Activity
Don't get me wrong, I think Moo has done an excellent job this month of finishing off what we started during my term in March. We secured a normalization of relations with the US and have reorganized Irish governance according to Moo's vision. By all accounts, it's been a successful term; however, I, and some citizens of eIreland have a different vision for how to handle eIreland. I'm running for that vision. One vital component of that is increased activity. We all know how many articles I write when I'm CP... a lot! I feel that social activity is important in this game, so I will urge my government to make more articles and to foster more discussion. Making this game SOCIAL is what makes it worth playing. To that end, I want to expand the activity of the Irish Army, creating a Mass thread of its members, and perhaps creating semi-competitive games, like who can find the Easter egg CO or who can get the most kills/DO's in a week. I want to support and encourage activity in eIreland!
2. Allies
Should I be elected, I would like to promote and develop our ties with our ALLIES. Aimeisan, who has proved to be a superb MoFA, will "lead the charge", and trust me, he's got TONS of ideas. Mass threads with ally gov. members, diplomatic exchanges, you name it, he's got it in his head
🙂. This is important, because Ireland must remain loyal to and caring of her ALLIES and no one else, really.
3. Formal Peace with USA
The greatest success in the previous term was normalizing relations with the US. I would like to further this and create a FORMAL WRITTEN PEACE/NAP with the US. This is to ensure a total cessation of hostilities. Negotiations will begin on Day 1 of my administration, trust me.
4. TW With Peru
I would like to continue the TW with Peru, as it continues to provide our soldiers with the opportunity for medals and in general, fighting opportunities. Peru has been a great partner, and I want to keep it going.
5. Cabinet and Congress
I would not repeat the Dublin Commune experiment, as that turned out to be quite a caustic thread. However, I would like to return to classical governance, i.e. a formal cabinet and a formal congress thread. I think this system works well, and I plan to implement it.

Hi Trito. I think a good step forward toward that NAP you mentioned would be to stop shouting for fights against us.
too funny, cannot say mean things to us (eUS) or we (eUS) won't be your friends. While we (eUS) will troll everyone at any time. There is no way to have a normal (mutual respect) relation with the eUS.
I believe as a citizen of eIreland I have the right to shout for our ALLIES
You are very welcome to shout for whoever you like, but dictating eIrish policy and the opinion of eIrish citizens is not a fair request from your part
I just found some contradiction in wanting to improve relations with the eUS, but then calling for people to fight against us. You don't see that as a contradiction? Nowhere in this comment did I attempt to "dictate eIrish policy." I was merely pointing out that you appear to be speaking from both sides of your mouth by expressing a desire to pursue a NAP while supporting our occupation via your allies. That would make the signing of a NAP a harder sell for our Congress to buy.
Croatia and Hungary are our allies. They were your friends and allies as well until you made them into your enemies for no apparent reason. I really wish you could normalize relations with them, and get out of the chaos you are in. But we can't follow you on the path that has led to that chaos. We are not a neutral country, and battles that our allies fight to keep themselves on the map have priority over your battles. We would like to maintain peaceful relations with you, this is why one month after you attacked us we went against our allie's plans and helped you to have congress. This has cost a huge amount of our reputation. Please try to understand our point of view.
Count me out if you win. After all the help I gave you when you were CP,each time, you could showed me the respect of dropping me a PM before running. Disappointed.
