[ThomasRed] A Call of Duty

Dear fellow citizens of eBelgium,

Tomorrow you will have to choose your new President, and i'm proud to be a candidate one more time.

The Belgium for Belgians Party and the Res Belgica Party have decided to support me, and i’d like to thank them for their confidence.

Becoming President is not an easy task, as you have a lot of responsabilities and tasks to fulfil, but it's also a pleasure to serve his country.

It's a pleasure, yes, but more than that, it's, for me, a real call of duty.

I can't do anything but listening it, and that's why i stand in front of you today to ask you to re-elect me as President of eBelgium.

The last 30 days have been difficult, we had to face new changes in the game, we had some government issues, etc... and there is never enough time in a day to do all that we would like to do.

Hopefully, the last Cabinet was composed by some really great people who have helped me to strenghten our country. I want to use this occasion to thank MaryamQ, our Prime Minister, Vulcain, our Minister of Defence, Ernest Bogdansson, our Minister of Education & Culture, Glenn Wauters, our Minister of Foreign Affairs, and last but not least, Boklevski, our Minister of Finances. They have achieved a lot of their goals for the past months, and them too, couldn't have done it without the help of some others citizens, like Victoria Diets, Sammy Tanghe, Velitia, or even Gurafity (who had to resign from his position of Chief of Ambassador).

As you can see, we have worked as a real team, with members from each party, with the only goal to improve the life in eBelgium.

But we can always do better, we could have been more active, we could have planned greater goals for our country, and that's why i'm willing to open the doors of the eBelgian Cabinet to a more larger numbers of citizens. We can use all the help available and that’s the way i understand the word “democracy” !

Almost all the current Cabinet members have accepted to continue their job if i'm elected, and i'm glad to announce that other great citizens are waiting to join the Cabinet, like M.Leviathin, Aldous Zamiatin, NLSP* or Critically* (* for these two last citizens, they may have change their mind, but let them know that the doors are still open for them).

In my last article, i did a mid-term review to have an overview of the situation in eBelgium, and on the government works. I have sent a PM to each party presidents, and to each congressmembers, to gave them the link of this article, and to ask them : What would you like me to work on more specifically ? What can be done better ? I didn't received a lot of answers, but the few ones i received were the sign that it's always important to challenge himself and to take a step back.

So if you had to judge the last term, what could i say to help you ?

Our government have achieve a lot of different goals : the work done at the Military is a big one.
The other big lines of our term are the next ones :
We have continued to give to our babys a strong support, via the mentorship program.
We have signed a MPP with the USA for only 120 gold, while we had to pay 200 gold before.
I, as President, have been quite active on the eRepublik Council created last month.
We have also achieved some administrative goals :
We succeed to get back the access to our national org citizen.info, which was lost since 4 months,
We succeed to increase the numbers of multies banned in eBelgium,
And we finally succeed to get back 50 gold that was stolen two month ago.

But we didn't reach all our goals, unfortunately, as the revision of the Constitution is not over yet for example.

To keep going on this way, which i believe is a successful one, i'm asking you to offer us the honour to continue our work, and to re-elect me as President !

I tried to make this article shorter than the previous one, and i hope you will have enjoy it...

Vote ThomasRed for Presidency !
