*The Soap Box* An Open Letter to all Politicians

Day 2,024, 10:14 Published in USA USA by Dauntless2000

This is going to be a big update to my original article I did for the eBabies competition. I think we need to go back and look at this because it needs to be seen and even more during this time of war. I’m going to warn you now, It’s going to be a little long and not a lot of fun, but it is a talk that a number of politicians need to receive. I’m also going to do my best to not name people, that is not the goal of this article that I want to convey at all. This is a constructive article to help us become better and make us stronger. I know that I will be forced to state one person but it also involves me with it. I believe I need to state this so because of what I have been seeing from a number of politicians during this time of trial.

I feel like I’m doing this to you guys, even though I shouldn’t have to

If there's one thing a person needs to remember if you want to run for any political office or any position where people have to look up to you is to respect the people that are the citizens of the country you serve. Any disrespect is a weakness and a crack that the PTOers will use against us. This feeling of disrespect was what I felt when I walked into the booth to vote in the presidential primaries. I vote for Paul for that reason, I remembered what Tens said back in the day when they chose to close the OMS. I remember Tens said and I quote, “5% is absolutely worth screwing other MUs for.” Let’s just say as a member of C4, a unit that was given support by OMS at the time, that is not something you expect to hear. This is not how a person that we vote to represent us should act at all. That moment, killed my respect for him. Why should I support him when there is a good real candidate that I can get behind? I’m not angry that Tens won the Unity vote over Paul, and I send my congratulations to him for winning. I still voted for him in the general, but I was holding my nose at the same time. The person we choose to be our President needs to have the respect of the nation, and sadly the way Tens has talked about small MUs is not at all going to give him the respect he should be able to receive as are CP. He can get it back, but it is going to be a hard road to travel. I’m not picking on Tens. I’m using my own feelings created by a disrespectful action to help you understand what I’m talking about and how those actions can hurt us and our nation. Cause what could have happened if people like me didn’t have the patriotism to vote for someone I lost respect from his or her actions. We could be looking at the loss of our freedom and our democracy all because of an act of disrespect from the past.

This is what is important for us not just us as a community, but for the safety of our nation. Every act of disrespect is something that the enemy PTOers can use against us. Every time we don’t treat people with care will harm us in the future. That is why there are true Americans in with the PTO groups, our actions in the past are shown by them and now they serve the enemy we face. This happens on the shout box, the forums, and also in articles released by people as well. They are mostly done for two simple reasons. The person doesn't agree with what a person says, or is unhappy about what happened. Yeah, bet you all can point out to something like this at this time. Now let me say something, I’m not talking about the fun trolling and poking a certain political person that we all love to hate. The problem is the dumb rages and acts of complete disrespect that are being done and hurting other peoples feelings. Let’s face it, we are seeing people who have done great things for our nation deciding to leave our country or the game entirely. This is completely inexcusable and needs to be fixed for the good of the nation. The Serbs laugh at us while a number of our civil servants slit each others throats.

So let’s face this most fundamental point about us humans, we all have our own minds. That means we don’t see things the same way as another person. I’m not telling you not to debate, that is a part of being in politics. We must talk and discuss what is the best course of actions of our nation to take. Yelling and howling and treating people as they are dumber than you are, is not debating. These actions you are doing is the same thing as seeing you are not going to win a board game and throwing it across the room. Debate is giving points and counterpoints to support your ideas while weakening the other person’s ideas at the same time. The best debates and debaters don’t use attack tactics, it makes them look weak and they need to look strong. Treating your opponent with respect is an important move to debaters because it makes you look like a good person and people want to support someone that acts that way. So if you need to take a walk, drink some calming tea, or whatever you do to have a calm head before you respond. Just remember that this person is a human being and has a brain that gives them the ability of rational thought. The only one that looks dumb is you when you are treating someone like crud.

Now we have also seen the temper tantrum articles in people's newspapers. The main reason is usually from actions that are uncontrollable and are not able to be changed. We all know about these articles and to me it is the same as seeing a little child whining over not being able to get the toy he or she wants and not going to understand that the cries will not get what the kid wants. The first thing to understand is to get over it, the incident has happened, the damage has been dealt. Crying and pointing fingers are not going to help us at all. It just leaves a number of people's feelings hurt and disrespected because of it. What needs to be done is what I am trying to do, we need to look at what we did wrong and see if we can fix the problem without the need of finger-pointing and raging that will only break us apart. Please try to give constructive criticism that will make us and our nation better. If you are just going to pout and rage on your newspaper, please don’t. It’s not worth the pain and cracks you create in the community. The people you lash out at can be the people who can fix things so it won’t happen again. They aren’t going to be that solution, if your attacks make them feel unwanted.

I don’t want to make all politicians look bad, in the contrary I like my party and a number of politicians out there. I find myself spending most of my time on my party’s board. I feel like my fellow members of the USWP have done a great job of being respectful and having fun. I enjoy getting on the USWP forum board and being with my fellow workers. I try not to point out people for shaming, but I will point out people that are worthy of praise. To Othere, I thank you for being a very respectful person. I enjoy having you as our party president and when the primaries come up, you have a vote already in your corner. It stunned me the day you came out and announced that you are gay. To me it shows that you believe that the community you are a part of and serve so well as the Secretary of the Interior will understand, accept, and respect you for who you are and why you were doing this. It takes so much courage to do that act, and I will say thank you for having that trust in all of us. To Clint Carmel, Mercurius100, Ludonarr, and to all the new members that are bringing their ideas and spirit to make the party better, please keep doing what you do. I also want to say great things about the intermediate Party President of the AMP. John Killah , you were given a job that no one would want to face and you have done it will grace and dignity. Keep strong, I know the Military Party will get through this and become stronger from this trying time.

I will let people know, yes I’m planning to run again for congress on the twenty fifth and for the same good reasons I stated in my original announcement article. I know that for some people this article will cause any work in politics hard for me, but I can’t stand by and watch my country hurt itself. Like my family did for the real life US, I do the same for my eUS. I stand to protect her from her enemies both at home and abroad. All of our politicians do understand what will be able to deal with the problem of PTO attacks, that is why the stop-gap system was called Unity.

The word you chose for the system proves my point. To face the storm that we deal with, we need to be united in heart and spirit. We need to stand together as a country to deal with this enemy that seeks to rot us from within. The thing is, to have this unity we need to be able to respect each other. We need to stand together, but how can we if we don’t think the other guy has our back. It's time to grow up a little and think about how we treat each other and how every time we say something in a disrespectful way is a tool of our enemies to place us under their control. Let us fight them not just on the battlefield, but by our actions at home. I don’t have an opinion on the Unity System at this time, but we need the real Unity in our heart. If my article ends up in the forums and is attacked for petty reasons, I think are digital Lady Liberty will shed a tear.

Thank you, and God Bless the eUSA
