One serious problem with this game has always been how new players take it upon themselves to perform character assassination on good players who have been around a significant amount of time.

These articles often lack point, sense and all logic. Most of them are equivalent to a monkey throwing its feces against a wall and jumping up and down pointing at it screeching the other player's name.

Now, do not get me wrong, I am a full supporter of freedom of speech, and not every new player is as ... offensive ... as some of the ones I have in mind. There are a few, that I can name off the top of my head, that as new players were quite insightful.

One more prominent one, although an old friend who has worked to offend me, is Claire Littleton.

I remember some of her earlier articles and she worked hard on them, doing her best to do what she wanted and do it right. I am sure, however, that if every new player tried to follow her example of part lulz and part serious news, she'd file a lawsuit for copyright infringement.

Nonetheless, my issue lies with new players who read a couple of articles of one point of view, don't bother reading many others of a contrary point of view, and decide to start writing meaningless articles that make little, if any, sense. For those of you who have not experienced these articles, these "writers" also do their best to publish as many articles as they can within a 72-48 hour period. Given their ambition to act like the New York Times website (updating around the clock), they write, often, terrible 2 paragraph articles that make many of the readers (as judged by comments) want to bang their head against the walls until they get a concussion.

Well I thought that if these 2 year olds were allowed to write their pointless, non-lulz, character assassination, articles... that I could write my own about them.

I do hope Claire laughs a little about the short paragraph I wrote about her... Likewise I hope you all get a chuckle at some of the connections I've drawn to the players and their ancestors.
