[T4LYMPICS] Details of Events

Greetings Citizens!

T4LYMPICS has only just been released to the eWorld and I have already received numerous registrations! If you haven't signed up yet, do so Now!

I know many of you are interested in how each event will be held and their particular details, so today’s article is all about that.










Before we get into the specifics of each event, I want to send out a big Thank You to the following people who have been so generous. They are the reason that this amazing International eCompetition will be taking place and why you will be receiving such ridiculously large prizes!

Fanaxidiel - 40,000 cc & 2,000 Q7 Weaps
BeachBunny - 36,000 cc
TheJakal - 20,000 cc
Jefferson Locke - 1,000 cc


A whopping Grand Total of 154,000 cc & 2,000 Weaps!! Just Amazing!










The updated prize list is as follows:


- 20,000 cc & 500 Q7
- 15,000 cc & 400 Q7
- 10,000 cc & 300 Q7


A Gold, Silver & Bronze medal will be awarded for each Event so you have the chance to win 80,000cc!










So to make the event a little more fair, I’ll be revealing the map on which the individuals will be battling for championship so that everyone can get some practice before the actual event.

Settings

The settings of note are:

1 - Tournament Style with Double Elimination
2 - Initial regions (3) Allocated Automatically
3 - Conditions will be Foggy
4 - 0% Luck Modifier
5 - Reinforcement & Abandon Cards
6 - Multi-day game
7 - Players will be booted after 10 hours of inactivity


The reason for making it multi-day is to accommodate players internationally and a 10 hour slot is more than sufficient for players to make their respective moves.

Whether this will be a team or individual event can only be decided by the number of participants. So far the number of individual applicants exceeds the team applications, which means that the Warlight challenge may become an individual event. We shall see!

I suggest that all players make their Warlight accounts in advance if they do not already have accounts and feel free to friend me, I use the nick Sparkfyre in Warlight too.

On the day of the event, Day 2,805 of eRepublik, all participants will be sent an invite to the tournament event around 06:00 eRep Time and the rounds will begin as soon as the invite is accepted.










This event is pretty straightforward. However, the challenge itself will be difficult, after all it's worth 20,000 cc!!

An article will be published on Day 2,807 around 09:00 eRep Time, which will have a series of puzzles to figure out, you will be given 36 hours from time of publish to solve and submit the answers.

It will include riddles, logic puzzles and much much more to test every contestants reasoning and analytical skills!










This will be a fairly easy round, in fact the aim of the game will simply be to achieve the highest average score in a multitude of short online games.

The list of online games will be released on Day 2,809 around 09:00 eRep Time and contestants will have 36 hours to submit their final scores.










I created an event like this once before and it was definitely the public's favourite! 😃

The Treasure Hunt event is based predominantly on IRC, it will start off with a clue that will be mass messaged to contestants or posted in an article. The solution to the clue will be the name of a channel in IRC.

For example:

The clue is: Who is eNew Zealand's Dictator?.
The answer is kawala023

So on IRC you will join the channel #kawala023 and the next clue will be in the topic of that channel and so on and so forth.

The event will be in real-time since the essence of it is speed and even though you can join in later it will be better to start at the decided time so that you don't fall behind other contestants.
