[Swiss Cheese] Interview with RICAN!

Day 1,758, 13:12 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Trogdorthetroll100

Welcome to THE SWISS CHEESE!
This media will now focus on interviewing our most prominent and most well known leaders, as well as our least known but eager players. Second up to be interviewed, the glorious Swiss watchdog, RICAN!

Rican, tell us about yourself. When did you join the game?
It's been 2 1/2 years now and I started off in eSwitzerland and I never left.

Why do you like Switzerland?
The friends. Definitely the friends. And I have met a lot of loyal Swiss citizens here, and surprisingly few people that have intended harm. All in all it's a great bunch of loyal people.

What is your connection with the AIM?
A.I.M. - - Anti-Imperialist Movement was the brain child of my friend Vincent Rekdal (who unfortunately has left the game) and myself.
As a citizen of a small country, it was obvious that game mechanics were becoming increasingly one sided. The fate of smaller countries was bleak. Imperialist bullies were getting greedier. A.I.M. believes that if like minded players band together we can change these dynamics. It is a lofty goal and will certainly not be accomplished quickly, but we have made some headway in key countries like Italy, UK and others.

What is the origin of your name?
I was born in Puerto Rico and a people there are often called Ricans. I moved to Chicago when I was about 7 and only recently moved to Geneva for work.

Who was your favorite Swiss president, and why?
How can I possibly answer that. If I limit myself to one person the others will be hurt. Paul Proteus was CP twice representing the SFP (Swiss Freedom Party). He did a lot to organize our country and even though he has moves to eUS, he remains involved in Swiss politics and I know he is Swiss in his heart.
Borgogian (also no longer in the game) because he was hell on wheels. Not particularly diplomatic but relentless in his pursuit of justice and freedom.
Monsieur Guillontine who really worked hard for Switzerland, but was misunderstood because he tried to bring some fun to the game with his made up religion, Guillotinism. I think he did a great job for our country.
Patar and Gucio are two more CPs that I respect and did a lot for Switzerland. My delicate flower the lovely lady Lotus Black has started her term with a bang. I think she just might turn out to be one of my most favorite presidents.
Now would you like me to list my least favorite CPs ?
Just kidding.

Is there any final important thing we should know about you?
I've been involved in Swiss politics from the beginning. I have held every possible position often more than once. Lately I've been "trying" to take a back seat and to support newer people in the game. I call myself the official Swiss watchdog now... just keeping an eye on things and (sometimes) quietly promoting freedom, democracy and transparency.

Do you know where Swiss cheese comes from?
Sure I do. From a little town in Wisconsin.

Thanks for giving me your time!
and Troggy... thank you!

That concluded my interview with Rican. A noble player, I suggest you find him and talk to him some time. That’s all for now, and thanks for reading!

P.S.: If you liked the interview, vote and sub!

Yours truly,
