Hi to all new readers, this is the first article out of many which will be published weekly to deal with news from Sweden. In this series of coming articles I will partially translate articles written by the SSI; the Swedish State Infocenter. The Presidential Election

The sixth of April, 08:00 (Swedish time) it was clear that Icehacker would become the new Swedish president. Icehacker had a lot of times run in the presidential election but he had never actually won it.

This election was between five different candidates from these parties:

FRONT - Icehacker
Folkhemsdemokraterna - Silverdin (victim of a political takeover at the time)
MSAP - Seblas
Krigspartiet - Bubbe
Liberala Vikingar - Corrado Cattini

What's notable is that the 2nd biggest party; Flashback Sweden (FBS) didn't have a candidate in this election. Also, Folkhemsdemokraterna was TO'd at the time of the election. All Swedish congressmen write who they give citizenships on our forum, it is very strict with who gets them. So how Silverdin of Folkhemsdemokraterna could get 164 votes probably has something to do with the new votinglevel rules.

These were the results, with Icehacker winning with 421 votes!

The new Government

The Seventh of April Icehacker announced the new government and this is what it looked like:

Party president election

Today the party president election was finished, so how did it go?

FRONT - Larm got 205 votes and won the election easily.
Flashback Sweden - This party president election was between 3 well known personalities; Roxort, David Johansson and Graytuna. David Johansson however in the end won with 57% of the votes.
MSAP - Ekstromskan was the only candidate and is now the party president.
Liberala Vikingar - Dalze won and got 71.19% of the votes.
Folkhemsdemokraterna - Samev was the only candidate and is now the party president, putting the party under Swedish control once again.
