Join the new world

This article is in responce to the UK's increase in new players. Today the UK gained around 380 new players, which is a growth of over 10%! The UK needs as many of you new players to stay, get involved and help overthrow the US and French invasion of our lands!

The series is called 'eRepublik Basics', but you don't have to be a new player to benefit from reading these articles...


'Health'

Your health value is displayed in the sidebar of your profile.

Health is lost by:
- Working (-10 health)
- Training (-10 health)
- Fighting (-10 health)

Health is gained by:
- Eating food (+2 health, times the quality or 'Q' of the food)
- Eating an energy bar (+100 health)
- Buying a health kit (+10 health) --costs 0.5 Gold--


'Working' and 'Training'

Working gets you money, it is important to so this so you can purchase products to improve your virtual life. To look for a job go to the 'job market', choose the best job as you can only work for one employer.

To work go to the area entitled 'my places' and click on the green work button next to the information on your employer. In your 'places' you are also able to build up a portfolio of your very own companies.

You can work in every single company you own once a day (as well as your employer's company), to do this click on the head profile in the column entitled 'work as manager'. You may select as many of your companies to work in as you wish. Once you have selected all the companies you wish to work in head to the bottom of the page and click the 'start production' button.

Training, or military training improves your virtual strength and this is important as you will be called upon in your erepublik life to defend your country from hostile neighbours or help liberate oppressed nations.

To train go to the area 'my places' and click on the tab of a shooting range (if you hover over it it says training grounds). Use the basic training ground (which is free) daily by clicking on the head icon and then hit the 'train' button.

In your personal space you have the option to build extra training arenas. These arenas cost money to build unlike the basic training arena so they are not for everyone.


'Battles' and 'Fighting'

From tab located at the top of all erepublik pages entitled 'wars' all active battles involving your country can be seen. To view or partake in a battle click on the 'fight' button on the right hand side. Once viewing the battle you can join in if you wish by clicking on the red 'fight' button.



Effects of fighting:
- Loss of health (-10 health per fight)
- If you are using a weapon its durability, or amount of uses decreases by one.

Once your opponent is defeate😛
- Your damage is added to the battle
- You gain experience points (1 XP per hit, or amount of fights you did)
- You gain rank points (10% of the damage you did)


The marketplace: Food, Weapons and RM's

The 'marketplace' is found under the tab 'market' that is at the top of every erepublik page.
Food restores health when players (with food) press the 'eat food' button in the sidebar. Food comes in different Q's (quality levels) and the Q multiplied by 2 is how much health the food will regenerate when eaten. Food is bought from the 'marketplace'.
Weapons increase damage players do when fighting in battles. On the battlefield there is a 'change weapon' button which is below the image of your current weapon. Clicking this will cycle through the different weapons in your storage (the higher Q's do more damage). Weapons are bought from the 'marketplace'.
RM's or Raw Materials are the building blocks of food and weapons. FRM's being the goods used to make food and WRM's being the goods to make weapons. Everyone who wants to employ people or work in their own food/weapons companies will need have these (if you need to buy these go to the 'marketplace').
