It is here that I officially declare my intention to run for Congress in the North East representing the UK Reform Party.

Who is Steve Steinbeck, I hear you ask?



I wouldn’t be surprised if you haven’t heard of me before. This is my first bid for Congress, and I am originally from the South East. I joined the game in October and immediately aligned myself with the UKRP. Following a difficult November under an oppressive Party President, I have started to grow my confidence in the party and this has therefore led to an accumulation of experience. I feel the time has come for me to represent the party I hold dear to my heart by running for Congress, and I would be honoured to stand for the people of the North East under the UKRP banner.

Why does the North East need Steve Steinbeck?



As an up-and-coming member of the UKRP, and dare I say it, the country, I class myself as an active, helpful and qualified citizen and I am prepared to offer my assistance to the North East region. Jhorlin has represented the region in the past, but he has renounced his candidacy for this month due to the beginning of a career in the Special Forces (I wish all the best to him on this new path). After a low turnout in the most recent Congress election, due to the yuletide circumstances, an unexpected outcome occurred which resulted in relatively unknown eRepublikan Potente snatching a seat for the UKRP. I do not believe Potente has willingly pledged his service to the North East, or the party at that matter, due to inactivity and unreliability. The North East deserves a fervent representative this month and I can assure you all that I am that representative.

What has Steve Steinbeck done for the eUK?



For several weeks I have served as the Director of Regional Recruitment in the UKRP and have spearheaded a recruitment campaign across the country – this has led to an increase in UKRP membership and I have met some eager new faces along the way. This job subsequently led to my joining of the Ministry of Home Affairs as an apprentice assisting the Welcoming Committee – it gives me great contentment and hope for the country when I offer my help and advice to new citizens. I plan to continue my involvement with the MoHA as I feel this is the ministry that accommodates my goals in eRepublik – to have all new citizens inspired and motivated, and to have a fun environment in which to play the game. I have also joined the Navy and this service to the country has encouraged me to become more active on the IRC.

What will Steve Steinbeck offer the North East as a Congressman?



With war around the corner, I have three primary goals for the North East, and the country in general:
- Have absolutely all citizens informed of the seriousness of the current situation, and ensure they are fully aware of their importance to the country.
- Assist in moving all citizens to our fortress, London.
- Ensure all citizens are aware of the key components of eRepublik – fighting, communicating, and helping the country.
I shall of course strive to maintain a 100% voting record, and if I feel it is necessary I will propose and fight for any policy that will contribute to the betterment of the UK, whether it be an economical, societal or a military benefit. I will always be a source of advice and help and will acknowledge any requests and propositions from my constituents.

My party, my country and of course this region is in my heart and it is for this reason that I request you vote for me in the Congress election.
