[ST6] Same Old Song and Dance, New Partner

Day 1,600, 22:06 Published in USA Greece by Maxx Johnson

A bit of mood music for those of you not old enough to understand this title: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzdWPwVTWsI

It was announced a few days ago that SEAL Team Six was on the verge of finalizing an agreement to join the USAF as a Branch.

I am happy to say that after the discussion of a few minor points of clarification and working through a few potential issues that we have come to an agreement.

SEAL Team Six is officially joining the USAF structure as a Branch.

The most common question is, what does this mean, what will the difference be?

Ultimately what this means is that ST6 will continue to do exactly what is has already been doing for nearly a year now. We will follow the battle direction set by the National Security Council of the eUS. This was already a requirement of being a part of the Office of Militia Support program. In exchange for this we will be provided with a better budget with which to unleash RAWR.

What will the focus of ST6 be under the new structure
SEAL Team Six will continue to be an Elite mobile Unit in the eUS. Our primary focus will be to aid our Allies through mobile battles and through providing them support in resistance wars. As has always been the case, if there are priority battles fought on the home-front or through MPP stack we will continue to be there, as well.

The long story short of this is, this is the same old song and dance, just with a new partner

SEAL Team Six is recruiting!

What is SEAL Team Six?

SEAL Team Six is an elite mobile branch within the USAF structure. Our primary focus is to deliver support to our Allies to aid them both in freeing their regions through resistance wars, and in suppressing our enemies attempts to regain their regions. If things are slow on the foreign-front, or if there is a pressing threat we will be found defending our Allies from attack, or helping to spearhead the Allied offensive.

How is ST6 structured?
SEAL Team Six Members are divided into three Teams.

Green Team (TST6 - Training SEAL Team Six)
This is where all new members begin their life in ST6. Everyone regardless of their experience in the game, level, in-game rank, political affiliation, starts off in TST6. The name is a bit of a misnomer this Team is dedicated to the selection of SEALs. The goal within this group is to show you are active and dedicated enough to be a member of SEAL Team Six. Most members will spend around three weeks as a part of this Team before being promoted to full SEAL status.

Supply for this team will be 11q6 tanks 2x daily

Red Team
This is the main division of SEAL Team Six. Red Team members are expected to remain highly active and mobile to deploy at all times. This Team follows the “traditional” structure. SEALs are divided into Platoons of roughly 10 members with each platoon headed by a Chief Petty Officer.

Supply for this Team will be 11q6 tanks 2x daily

Gold Team

The elite of the elite. Gold Team members are SEALs who have proven themselves with their activity and ability to do what it takes to win battles. Gold Team operates under a different structure than that of the Red Team. There are no platoons, no roll calls. This Team reports directly to two Sr. Officers.

Prior to applying to become a member in the Gold Team you must have successfully completed the selection process of TST6/Green Team. You must also have spent at least 1 month in the Red Team, and be a SEAL in good standing regarding your activity checks.

Supply for this Team will be 11q6 tanks 3x daily, supply requests are handled via IRC

What are the requirements to join SEAL Team Six?
- Willing to work in a commune assignment
- Willing to remain active, follow orders and fight to the best of your ability
- Willing to join the in game MU (we can help secure cs if needed)
- IRC activity is required
- There is no requirement regarding rank or strength, decisions are made on a case by case basis. However, if you are brand new to the game, we strongly recommend that you consider Boot Camp. Their application is located HERE
