[Skill Migration] Expert Advise for Military and Economic Skills

The migration is about to close and everyone is going to choose some or the other skills. For those who couldn't make a choice between anything, here is my own solution which I discussed with experts from various countries and after seeing statistics and reading too many articles dedicated towards skill migration.
Here are some thumb rules or important things to remember to choose what your skill should be -

1. The day 957 is last for the migration, so choose fast and shout this, so that our fellow two clickers can choose skills on time. I'll try to message each and every active person who havnt chose any skills to tell about that. You should do that too.

2. Choose 100% of whatever choice you made in both military and economy skill options. Reason for that is if you are 4 skilled construction worker, 5 skill manufacturer and 3 skill Land skilled worker, U wont get the salary of all the skills at once. U will only get salary for any one of the skill. So to get better salaries, don't part your skills or else you'll regret it.

3. Choose the economy skill which is rarest but the outcome is still in demand. Don't choose what others are choosing.

4. Don't just choose Air Unit or helicopter in military skills.

Military Skills:-
So I take military skill first. Read the below excerpt from Admin's eRepublik Insider -

You already know
that some units have advantages over others: infantry over anti-aircraft artillery, tanks over infantry, helicopters over tanks and finally anti-aircraft artillery over helicopters. On the other hand each unit advantage (or disadvantage, depending on how you look at them) can be compensated by moving your unit on a tile with certain type of terrain. Infantry unit (rifles) are harder to hit when located in a forest. The unit and terrain bonuses can make a different in the heat of battle but they will not give you a guaranteed win against an unit you have an advantage over. Terrain and unit advantages increase the chance to hit your opponent or decrease the chance for you getting hit a little bit.

Just to add there Artillery have +20% defence while being in cities and capital tile. (There are more than one city in every region).
So what each skill will be having strategy advantagages and usage in a real battle in eRepublik Rising (V2). Look Below
Artillery:- Artillery have advantage over helicopters and let me tell you everyone who's intelligent and strong is going to take artillery just to shoot down Air Unit (Heli). They are meant to protect city tiles and Capital city Tile, which is required to capture to complete one important condition to win the battle. And just to add that they are meant to be defensive unit.
Tanks:- Tanks have the tile advantage on plain tile of +20% defence and they are also of the defensive unit. They meant to protect artillery from rifles and work as the second line of defence to protect cities. They are prone to attack by Air Units though. But in open they work very well. Just don't go to mountains, bridge, forest and cities with them,if u expecting an attack.
Rifle:- They are one of the important offensive unit. They have advantage over artillery, so they meant to attack city tiles and the most important Capital tile. They should look for Tanks though. They have +20% defence advantage in forest tile, so if there are any forest near Capital tile, it'll be a great advantage for the rifles. This option is selected by most of the Citizens according to the statistics.
Air Unit or Helicopters:- They are the most offensive unit. They can move 3 tile at a time, can cross mountain, river, forest everything and can hunt Tanks. They are to protect rifles from tanks, when rifles hit the capital or city tile artillery. They are also favourite of everyone who plays beta, that's why people want to go with artillery to hit heli, just because heli had been given most important power to cross rivers and to move 3 tile at a time.

So in the end the conclusion is if u are a new and a poor person who can't afford expensive weapons like artillery, tank and heli, go for rifle. If you are a strong person with more than 20-25 strength, go for Heli if u r offensive, coz u need not to worry about artillery and if u want to be defensive go for artillery. If you have lower strength like 10-20, you should go for tanks. Rifle is as always for the more weak.


Economy skill:-
Everyone is choosing harvester so don't fall for it only, though Raw material will be having too much advantage there. You should first choose an industry, before you make up the mind for the skill. RM industry will be the most in demand, but as everyone is hitting it, it would not be a wise choice for us to do the same. Weapons like tanks, artillery and heli will need new companies or new workers, so it'll be a best choice to make. Food and MT department is not so good, but as food is essential u can look for it, as it'll be rare to find a good producer for food.
For construction, I want to say new companies will open for hospital and houses, but as people can buy high Q food, You should not consider house industries future to be very good, just like current. Though there'll a chance if houses will be cheap.

So in the end the conclusion is manufacturing weapon should be a good sector to grab, second best is food and ticket manufacturing, next is RM (But it'll not be a rare skill to find, let me remind) and the last should be construction as there's lot of risk associated with it.
So what skill you should choose, after u made up ur mind for the sector:-
Manufacturing weapons:- Fitter and technician will be the rarest, so you can try choosing them, I myself chosen 100% fitter and if you want to do me a favor don't increase competition for me 😛 Engineering will be a hot choice, so they'll be easy to find. Mechanic is second best and engineer is last according to me.
Manufacturing Foo😛- Food and MT will be the next hot sector which'll be in demand. If housing sector collapsed, the advantage will be with food sector. MT will have a chance if there're lot of wars. Choose any of the marketing manager or producer. But as manager is a good name, don't fall for it. GO choose the worst named skill, that's how you should choose 😉
Harvester:- There's only one choice here, that's why everyone is grabbing it. If you want to have no risk and can satisfy yourself with low demand and high workers, go for it. It'll be safest to choose harvester, if u dont want to take risk. But do remember, no risk no gain. So expect a low salary.
Construction:- That's the most risky sector and thus will give more returns too. If you chose it, pray the sector don't collapse. There'll be more demand of hsopital and defense system for sure, but I have doubts over housing one. If houses will follow the trend, then it'll be a boom and u'll be rich within days and if it got burst then satisfy yourself with low salary in government companies.

So make up you mind within 2 days and remember Day 957 is the last to choose.
