The USA seems to be letting go of its holdings in Ireland and Portugal. They are keeping Quebec at this time, 33-11.
Poland is getting focused hard by Asteria and IT has knocked Poland out of empire status. ;__;
USA VS Canada
USA won in Quebec and attacked Nova Scotia, currently winning comfortably 65-34, leading all divisions currently.
USA has declared war on Canada, because of her MPP with Serbia. To be fair, this was a long time coming, as the US abandoned Canada a long time ago. Some would say the US treated her poorly. Others would say Canada's totalitarian regime, under Rolo, pushed the US away. Whatever once was, is no more.
Spain VS Canada
Spain is rolling against Canada. Canada is down to six regions. She will be wiped.
Poland VS Romania
Closed as quickly as it began.
Croatia VS Slovenia
Croatia has attacked Slovenia, and lost the first battle. Slovenia is about to win in Burgenland, currently 82-6.
Germany VS Slovenia
Germany has attacked Slovenia in Deutschschweiz. It is currently tied, 11-11. Could be a good war.
Romania
Greece
Serbia
Hungary
Argentina
Slovenia
Serbia has RW's in BiH and France.
Romania VS Spain
Romania is going to roll for a while. We'll come back when that determination is over.
That x2 determination. The horror.
Lithuania VS Sweden
Lithuania was rolling in the MPP battles, and Sweden keept winning RW's. Now, it's going back and forth.
Asgard's peace proposal was accepted, then immediately broken by Lithuania.

Latvia VS Belarus
War keeps going back and forth. Belarus has the theoretical upper hand, as Latvia is just at two regions.
Argentina VS Brazil
Argentina let Brazil RW a few regions to reset the Determination. Now they take the regions back to keep Brazil from having Congress. ;__; for Brazil.
COMMENTARY
So, the new alliances are out in the open. We are still waiting on a few key countries to declare their allegiances.
Still on the fence, unofficially, are:

Chile
Indonesia
Republic of China
Brazil
Bulgaria
Germany
France
Republic of Macedonia
Russia
It will be interesting to see how the old ABC bloc shakes out. It would be beneficial to see them finally make peace with Asgard. If this were to happen, it could give SIRIUS a little bit of an upperhand. Until that happens, however, it would seem that ASTERIA will continue to focus the USA, Poland, and Spain.
Just to give you a sense of how much Poland has loss in just a couple days.
No doubt, Poland and SIRIUS will strike back. Germany's entrance into Slovenia is a good first step. We'll see what else happens.

I'd say the eUSA isn't letting go of the eIrish iron region in Wexford. It looked a lot more like Asteria members slipped in when the eUSA was asleep and started the RW, and then medal hunters took over from there. With determination no one will hold a region forever. Now to see if the rental deal continues and the region is retaken or not.
It seems Cork has went the same way.
My first action after the fall was to go burn down the new McDonald's that had been built to poison the children.

Are you "Serius"? I don't think USA is letting go of anything. It's been taken away from them.
I haven't seen much fighting in the Portugese regions, and they offer no resources, so the analysis is "Why keep them?"
The Portuguese operation was specifically for the MU competition and we always intended to withdraw. In fact, Wild Owl mentioned withdrawing days ago in this article: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-potus-an-update-2372078/1/20
As for the Irish regions, those were definitely taken; however, there was little defense from our side as it was rented region. That said, it'll be interesting to see if we renew that rental once things calm down a bit.
