You don't get to that level of experience without being good, talon said he would choose his cabinet based on competency and has done precisely that. There is a good reason UKPP people were rejected for cabinet positions, firstly, you refuse to use the forums, it is vital for a minister to use the forums, secondly, from what i hear your applications were 1 line long and made no reference to talons manifesto.

look I like people helping in the ministries and if you don't get to become minister you can still help out by being an underminister or apprentice ( I have never seen anyone that hasn't been accepted as an apprentice)

So I have no clue what you're on about Nick. I've served for the past two administrations in the MoFA, and I'm planning on doing the same again. The only reason older members have held the actual minister positions is because we don't necessarily have the experience to do so yet, and they do. Working at a lower levels helps you gain that experience so that one day, you will be at that level.

Honestly, quit trying to criticize those who ARE older members who ARE actually trying to get younger citizens involved. Talk to them, and get to know them rather than make your childish assumptions.

When I spoke with Talon about applying for cabinet, I asked how to apply and what to write.... he basically said 'just put that you want to apply'.... and now he's screwed everyone over after promising that he was a fresh face,inclusive face.

So it isn't a matter of us not having any experience... it's a matter of certain people giving jobs to their own group of friends.. and if you don't brown-nose then you get nowhere.

You must deaf, because I just said I was in the cabinet for the past two terms, I even served as uMoFA last term, so no it's not impossible. And it's not a matter of what they can do better, it's the simple fact that they've been under-ministers, envoys, and whatever other apprentice jobs you can name, in the past, and they've learned from the ministers who served before them HOW to do their job without the CP having to babysit them at ever step. Perhaps if you put a new citizen into a minister role he could figure the job out, but he would constantly need direction from the CP because he's never done something like that before.

And brown-nosing? Please, your drivel is getting old. It's called being decent to other people, and giving them respect, which they show in turn.

Also to add, Mitt currently has two *NEW* players serving as dMoFA who she wants to teach so they can possibly take up the minister role come next term, or somewhere down the road.

Its not the party that matters as much as the candidate. Association with the political party only gives you a sense that they share similar ideals but it does not tell you their actual views,ability,trustworthiness,ect,ect.I would think most people see this as Talon coming to power not TUP.
